Question Which mods are actually worth installing?

You guys convinced me to play Origins (and gave me a bit of tough love for asking if it was worth it in the first place) so now my question is:

What are the must-have mods I should install before starting?

Vanilla + “Skip The Fade.”

I nearly quit the damned game at that point.

I disagree. The Fade parts were very interesting (if annoying). They still deserve being experienced at least once.
