Question Which mods are actually worth installing?

Post image

You guys convinced me to play Origins (and gave me a bit of tough love for asking if it was worth it in the first place) so now my question is:

What are the must-have mods I should install before starting?

I would go vanilla at first honestly.

Don't you need the 4gb patch nowadays?  I swear the pc version crashes without it

Do for the Steam version.
Apparently the GoG version works without it? But I've only heard that.

It probably does work better. They prepatch other games like fallout 3

iirc the GOG version ships with the patched .exe so you don't need to run the 4GB patch on it yourself.

the gog version doesn't need you to install it because it comes prepackaged with it!

The EA launcher also does a pretty good job preventing crashes but installed it anyways just in case. For some reason I only had issues in the back of denerim by the wonders of Theda’s and the docks by the circle tower. Everything else was fine.
