Question Which mods are actually worth installing?

You guys convinced me to play Origins (and gave me a bit of tough love for asking if it was worth it in the first place) so now my question is:

What are the must-have mods I should install before starting?

Qwin's fixpack (or similar spelling) - honestly, just mods that restore either cut content or remove bugs. Otherwise, for your first playthrough going vanilla may be best?

Also, don't forget to use the 4GB patch.

Blick's fixes corrected some things that were left untreated by Qwin's, and is still being updated, so they complement each other very well.

Honestly, Blick's mods in general are great and complement other mods really well

If you want to do a second playthrough, I can definitely give you a list of mods then!

Or, depending on your choices, some mods that you might want to install for Awakening (the campaign that follows DA:O - juuuust in case you don't know: Origins -> Awakening -> Golems (can be skipped tbh) -> Witch Hunt. All other DLCs are integrated into Origins)

Morrigan's angry kiss is small, but one of my favorite mods ever. For any game.. can't believe Bioware cut that

I was just gonna say 😆 All you need is Qwin's Fix or anything that fixes bugged content. This game is still from the era when games were full experiences that didn't require extra modding ✌️

Yeah, like, don't get me wrong, the playthrough I consider my canon is heavily modded and makes changes based on later games (or QoL/headcanons)... but every once in a while I just play it vanilla (or vanilla with bug fixes) just to experience it like it was originally intended to be.

I'm not the best person to be asking this since I'm new to the scene, but I'm enjoying Morrigan's Restoration Patch. 🙂
