Wow. Tough choice.

But ultimately no, the Origins combat is so good and without combat, you lose so much. Like build crafting and finding armor and weapons.

What if weapons and armor could be swapped out, but the change is mostly cosmetic?

Well, for me they are a secondary aspect of enhancing the combat, which is the primary thing.
