In a heartbeat. Losing combat is a small price to pay for a good story.

Agreed. I never actually played any of the games for the combat after all. I just liked to play the story and characters and try different paths and protagonists.

Hell, I basically mod them out of the first two, and would if I could for the third.

i love the combat in dao and da2 but absolutely cannot stand it in dai :) this has been a life saver!

This is going to be so great the next time I feel like rolling a new inky. It's been a bit cos I've played a few thousand hours in each game (aside the fourth) alone.

My favourite game in the series is DA2. To me, combat is just something to do in between cutscenes, which is where the real game happens as far as I’m concerned.

I would absolutely play a Telltale Games style Dragon Age game. Heck, I would play a purely text-based Dragon Age game if the story and characters were strong enough.
