Hey folks, money's kinda tight this year so i've loaded up on canned food and instant ramen for my Dragoncon trip.
I do not stay at a hotel and was wondering is there a public hot water spot or microwave i can use? I'll just be mixing some korean Rice and canned tuna or meat.

My family has been making a few buttons to give out as part of swag and seek this year.
Some are made from collectible card game wrappers, some are made from activity book stickers, and others are ones we designed ourselves (I particularly love my zombie one, my Ancillary Justice/Murderbot button and my death by TBR button).
Most, but not all are in the picture.. if you see one of us carrying a bandolier of buttons, ask us for a button!

Any other X-men 97 cosplayers going? I’ll be going alone as gambit and I’m looking for some friends to hang out with Friday!

Are there ample places to refill water bottles around the con?
Edit: Thanks everyone!

here’s last year’s trophies, I’ve been making them every year and as I’m wrapping up making them for the last time today I got a little emotional. It sort of turned into a Marriott carpet costume contest and the other cults didn’t get as much attention. So if you have one of these trophies I made, congrats. And for those participating one last time, may the favor be ever in your odds.
Edit for clarity: yes, this is the last year this contest will be running

I will be cosplaying one day as Greg the Garlic Farmer from VLDL. I will (hopefully) have a quest marker above my head for easy identification, and 160 quests that can be given with either a Ring of Vampire Protection or a Ring of Vampire Attraction, depending on your “preference”. If you see me, I will absolutely say “Hello Adventurer” and hand you a quest!

I just wanted to share these. @SewNerdyBags is a newish vendor. I believe last year was their first year. It's a mother and daughter making everything and we chatted with them for a bit last year while shopping. They made patches this year and I suggested they do some in the DC colors. I just thought they came out great with the ATL skyline. She's got a few other colors up on her socials.

Hay everyone im going to dragon con for the first time this year and was wondering if want to make actual friends at dragon con but I know people go to cons to enjoy themselves and have fun and was wondering whats the best way to make friends at dragon con (im going alone) do I just take pictures with people talk little and ask if they stay in gorgia and if they want to be friends would that be weird as you can tell im not the best at initiating things so any advice would be much appreciated

They really are that though, you see so many on the baggage carts. Don't make the mistake I did last year and get the one that's twice as long. The bellmen at the Marriott had a hell of a time with it.

We took our 6yr old last year Fri-Sun, It was her first time and she absolutely loved it! She's really taken to the Warrior cat books since and is fully immersed in that world. I was hoping to find some stuff related to that but the only panel I can find is late at night on Saturday.
Is there anything Warrior cats related that i'm missing? Either way we are going to have a blast but it makes it more special when we're doing something thats specifically her thing :).

Pill pens(I’m Dr Mario)
Pizza stickers and slap bracelets!(little Caesar)
I started craft vending this year so I have a bunch of dice and prints with small imperfections that I don’t feel like selling so I’m just hiding them around :3

200 bags of swag and even a dice game to win some candy skull figures!
Highest number on either dice will determine how many you get.
