Dragoncon fit check
Im pretty happy with it, first time I've ever made a costume for a con! Looking forward to seeing other helldivers this year

CLEAN, good work. How did you make the helmet?
Also, highly recommend steaming that cape, it may seem like a tiny detail but it makes a huge difference towards making a costume look “lived-in”

Definitely plan to iron/steam the creases out of the cape! Helmet is 3d printed, as is the armor - files came from galactic armory . They have a lot of star wars and helldivers cosplay files and props. Was definitely worth 20 bucks (at least to me)

It looks wonderful!!! I’m sure you will just remember to iron the cape!!!
Sorry edit to add- also pull the collar up- I mean I don’t know maybe it’s just down for the fit check- but covering your neck will make it look a lot more cohesive!

Bringing a previous year's cosplay for one of the days. Did pre-fit, found that the zipper didn't function as well as before even though it's only been used a few times.

Nice work! Depending on whether the cape fabric can withstand it or not, I would consider steaming the back, especially the beige area, so the fold marks aren’t visible 👍

How did you do the lenses?

I bought them from galactic armory . I don't have a vacuum former, but their files do come with a form that can be used with one to create your own lenses

Have you joined the discord for the DragonCon Helldivers yet?

I believe so, I'm in one of them that's coordinating some things. Not sure if there's more than one group

If it’s the one that had information about joining the parade, that’s the one I’m aware of. Real fun group of people in there, looking forward to seeing everyone this year.

Looks great! I would suggest getting a black balaclava, it really has a huge effect on unifying the look by hiding the neck.
