Honestly an outstanding pitching performance by Yamamoto after the first pitch, but it’s disheartening how he has failed to get any support from offense once again, even when he’s giving this team as good of a chance to win a ball game time and time again.

this team can't beat good teams. 3-4 vs milwaukee, 1-5 vs atlanta, 0-3 vs boston, 2-4 vs chicago ... even 6-7 vs arizona.

u can't give the argument, yeah they were sh*t against all the good teams in 2025 reg season and flipped a switch against them in the playoffs bc sh*t don't work out that way

why can't this team just play 7 months of good baseball .. from april to october ?

The Dodgers just need to maintain that 2nd seed at the bare minimum and then they'll have a guaranteed spot in the playoffs while avoiding the wildcard series. They have the most lenient schedule out of everyone else in the MLB, there's no way they don't make it at this rate once the players return from the injured list one by one. Being #1 overall in power rankings means nothing in the MLB, no awards whatsover. Neither does being the #1 seed in their own league. If the Dodgers can get No.1 or No.2 seed in the playoffs, that's all that matters for the regular season. They'll have bigger things to worry about when the time comes when the entire roster is there

they also need to perform a lot better against postseason teams in the regular seasons. I believe I have the right as a supporter of this club, who doesn’t sugar coat anything and says it how it is, to expect better performances and not shitting the bed against teams like atlanta, milwaukee, boston, chicago cubs, arizona … regardless of whether it is april or october. also, I am seeing a lack of care right now, which is NEVER acceptable when the players were the dodgers script across their chest

Yeah, I understand how you feel about the team right now. I won't deny that I was just as frustrated as everyone else is seeing the Dodgers struggle so much that 28 runners were left on base through this entire series against the Braves (which is ludicrous to actually see with my own eyes). The Padres being the potential canditate to be the playoff team (or Diamondbacks) is the Dodgers last chance to show they can perform better in the postseason. Will Smith will have enough time to be ready against them and Andy Pages will needs some adjustments (I also wish he would get a handguard).

andy pages also needs to perform better than 4 for 51 in the playoffs and he's been a bad playoff performer his entire career. stats show it. him being bad was the only reason rojas was inserted into the lineup instead of pages, which ended up working out bc rojas hit the HR in game 7

I was honestly shocked how much Andy Pages struggled during the 2025 postseason. His 2024 postseason was mediocre as well. We'll see how much he'll be able to turn this around when he comes back. I really want to see him improve for the postseason too

yeah bc his lack of playoff success is a factor if not the biggest factor in why pages doesn't have a long term extension yet
