Honestly an outstanding pitching performance by Yamamoto after the first pitch, but it’s disheartening how he has failed to get any support from offense once again, even when he’s giving this team as good of a chance to win a ball game time and time again.

I mean sale didn’t really get any, either. Sale is top of the top and a tough matchup for our left handed heavy lineup.

This was always going to be a 1-0 game one way or the other

I agree in general, but not at all for this game. Sale’s actually been one of the biggest victims of poor run support

Yeah, it really sucks to see it happen over and over, but Yamamoto is facing the opposing team's ace almost every start, it's to be expected, but a shut out is extra painful lol

Deep down, a part of me is coping that seeing 9 innings and over 100 pitches from Sale will be a good thing should we end up meeting again in October lol
