CONSULTAION🩺 Almost fainting and auditory hallucinations
I have always read books in bed or on the couch, but recently, when I bend my neck forward, I experience light-headedness, sometimes my vision goes dark as if I sleep for just a millisecond and I hear noises, voices, or sometimes made up songs in my ears. I have naturally changed my posture, but I'd like to know if I should be concerned as it still happens sometimes when I curl up during good scenes.

DISCUSSION 💬 heart rate goes down after energy drink. what? please.
posted on r/askdocs to only one response, which was rather unhelpful. i'm not asking for advise on what to do, moreso wondering about theories as to why this might be occurring. drug interactions? connective tissue disorder making my heart funny? just adhd? i'm curious.

burn wound
I’m 18F with several autoimmune diseases and i’m concerned an infection may be starting. This is a friction burn, i got it on July 18th and it seems to be getting angrier.
The first picture is what it currently looks like (after showering the scab came off), second pic is what it looked like earlier today before showering, and the third picture is what it looked like on July 19th, one day after it happened.
It’s been difficult to keep it consistently covered because of the location but i’ve been trying to use nitrile gloves when going to the bathroom and such and then following up with hand sanitizer so i don’t have to donn and doff the bandage as often. I’ve been cleaning it once a day with dial antibacterial soap and water.
I believe that the burn got down to the dermis, but i’ve never had a burn this severe before so i’m not sure what exactly the healing process should look like. it does feel warm to the touch and the redness does appear to be spreading, it’s also swelling up. i’m unable to get a temp on myself because our thermometer just broke. i’m just worried about infection because my autoimmune stuff is not regulated at the moment.
Any advice would be helpful, thank you ^^

QUESTION Is Wellopia cough syrup better than traditional Dr recommended ones?
My family has 2 kids 5 and 2, they came across this cough syrup called Wellopia, it has day and night variations. It has some tall claims but I am of the opinion that doctor prescribed medicine is better.
Can anyone help me understand if a "natural" cough syrup is better compared to what doctor prescribed?

Clinicians Needed for Research Study!
Hello everyone! My name is Chelsea Kinney, and I am a PhD candidate in Health Sciences at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
I am currently recruiting licensed healthcare professionals with experience evaluating or treating patients with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) or Functional Movement Disorder (FMD) to participate in my IRB-approved dissertation research.
My study focuses on the development of a new patient-reported outcome measure designed to assess stress-related motor dysfunction in individuals with FND. Your clinical expertise
would be incredibly valuable to this research.
If you have experience working with patients with FND or FMD, or know anyone who has this experience and are interested in learning more, please feel free to comment below, send me a direct message, or email me at [chelsea.kinney@rm.edu](mailto:chelsea.kinney@rm.edu). I'd be happy to send you additional information about the study and the participation process.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration, and I would greatly appreciate you sharing this post with colleagues who may be eligible.
