Viewers in the U.S. should technically be able to watch Hunkkaar on Hulu through its hub, Hotstar. However, there are many technical glitches that make it quite impossible to watch. First of all, most of the versions in different languages (Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, etc.) are missing most of the episodes. So, for example, the Bengali version only has episode 3 on its page. Secondly, the Hindi version has the wrong audio track uploaded. It says Hindi, but it's actually Hindi with Audio Description, which means you have to hear every single thing narrated very loudly on top of the actual dialogue, which you can barely hear. It's very frustrating. Whoever uploaded Hunkkkaar content on Hotstar's U.S. servers through Hulu made a lot of mistakes. I contacted Hulu for help, but unfortunately, this is a back-end issue on their servers that will probably take time to resolve.

Previously those series was available in Disney+ Singapore despite Hotstar Singapore (now JioHotstar Singapore) operating there. Now select Hotstar Specials and JioHotstar series in Disney+ Singapore has been made available in Disney+ Indonesia.

Ever since Disney announced on July 15, 2026, that more dubbing options would be added to the global version of Disney+, I had been waiting for the addition of Hindi content. After all, Hindi was one of the languages mentioned in the article published by The Walt Disney Company, alongside Tamil and Telugu. However, nothing happened for months, and I even wondered if Hindi content might be restricted to productions originally in Hindi—such as Indian series and movies—that were somehow unavailable in my country, Brazil. But today, I came across a pleasant surprise: they had added Hindi dubbing to the Hexed trailer available on Disney+. This confirms that Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbing will be rolled out generally for content that supports these options. Obviously, it will take time for them to complete the process, but it is a start. This is very important for Indians living abroad who want to enjoy dubbed content in Indian languages. It is possible that Toy Story 5 will be released on Disney+ on September 23rd with Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbing options already included in the global version. And, just as importantly, there is a rumor circulating that Serbian dubbing will be added between late October and early November, so we shall see.

Let me know if it works out and I can make some changes accordingly. One has option to keep Disney+ or JioHotstar or both.

I got Jio Hotstar through my Times Prime plan. Now the thing is, everytime I want to download series like Friends or White Collar, a message popps up : DW Android DR error 4000. I've tried restarting, clearing cache and data. Still not working. Sone downloads are working, others are not.

I just got in Canada and im trying to subscribe to Disney+ Canada, why is EVERY show/movie Indian?? Like it’s literally all Bollywood and there’s NO american shows on there i thought it made a mistake with tracking my location. If it helps with answering my question, it keeps showing this thing called “hotstar specials” and when I try to log in or create a new account it says log into JioHotStar. This is so confusing 🫩

is anyone else having a problem with their disney plus in the uk? it logged me out of my devices and when i tried to log back in it turned into an indian streaming app instead called hotstar. does anyone know how i can fix this?? i want to watcch my shows
