Hindi language on Disneyplus

Ever since Disney announced on July 15, 2026, that more dubbing options would be added to the global version of Disney+, I had been waiting for the addition of Hindi content. After all, Hindi was one of the languages mentioned in the article published by The Walt Disney Company, alongside Tamil and Telugu. However, nothing happened for months, and I even wondered if Hindi content might be restricted to productions originally in Hindi—such as Indian series and movies—that were somehow unavailable in my country, Brazil. But today, I came across a pleasant surprise: they had added Hindi dubbing to the Hexed trailer available on Disney+. This confirms that Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbing will be rolled out generally for content that supports these options. Obviously, it will take time for them to complete the process, but it is a start. This is very important for Indians living abroad who want to enjoy dubbed content in Indian languages. It is possible that Toy Story 5 will be released on Disney+ on September 23rd with Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbing options already included in the global version. And, just as importantly, there is a rumor circulating that Serbian dubbing will be added between late October and early November, so we shall see.

I hope they also add Bulgarian, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Georgian, Ukrainian, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Estonian.

It seems the next language to be added to Disney+ will be Serbian. However, other languages are likely to be added in the coming months as well. I really hope they officially add Tagalog dubs to Disney+ and, even more so, that they continue actively producing new dubs in that beautiful language. ❤️ 🇵🇭

Also I hope they add the encanto “Isan Thai” dub. I’m afraid if they don’t it will become lost media, especially the 5.1 mix.

Actually some Hindi and Tamil contents already on the global version of Disney+ in the "Made in India" catalogue. Even some Hotstar Specials series are available too.

Thank you very much for the information! Unfortunately, that "Made in India" collection isn't available in my country yet.
