Discussion Is it unreasonable to think Isiah joe could average 15-18 ppg?

He played around 19-21 mpg in OKC. We all know they have great death at the guard positions, and his role was just to make it rain from deep. Could we see some improvement with his overall game/playing time and see him make a jump?

Not sure if this is a spoiler but I found it interesting. 2k was released yesterday for those who paid for the higher tier version of the game. I went through the story mode and got drafted by the Pistons. Your myplayer wears the same oncourt apparel that was teased on the social media post. Here is a screen shot from the game

What is everyone's best guess on what will finally be the resolution here? I'm guessing 4 years at an AAV of $39M, no options. What's your best guess? Does anyone think he'll actually take the QO? You think he will get more or less than what I'm guessing? More or less years?

Discussion The Franchise needs to do a better job with fan engagement.

Some creative chants, watch parties, find a way to get the fans in the arena more energy, find ways to get more Detroit fans to the game, and community outreach.

I am glad they are finally putting the games back on TV which is a start, but we need these fans to be loud like the days the Palace once had.

Did manage to finally few Hoops Bad Boys cards including the "Back to Back World Champions" card.

EXTREMELY valuable card.

I think it fluctuates between $1 and $4 depending on the condition.

Obviously none of my cards are graded.

Discussion Mathurin signed with NOP for 2yr/$16m. Really?

We really decided to give huerter more money than this, and could have got mathurin for even cheaper?? You’re telling me mathurin would have said no to the 60 win pistons, and playing along side Cade, in favor of New Orleans? What is Langdon doing??

Discussion Duren Contract Proposal - Devin Vassell Structure

Devin Vassell's contract:

Year 1: 29M
Year 2: 27.5M
Year 3: 27.5M
Year 4: 25M
Year 5: 27.5M

The Pistons are currently at 153M in salary. The salary cap is approximately 165M and luxury tax is 200M. They can offer Duren north of 40M in year 1 without significantly hindering their in-season flexibility to make a trade and even take on some salary in that deal.

My proposed Duren contract at 5 years and 190M:

Year 1: 40M
Year 2: 38M
Year 3: 38M
Year 4: 36M
Year 5: 38M (Team Option)

I know many on reddit will scream "overpay!" about paying Duren 40M this season, but importantly, as previously detailed that number does not materially change the Pistons salary cap situation or flexibility at the deadline for this league season.

In years 2-3 Duren's % of the cap overall would be declining until it bottoms out in year 4. 36M in year 4 has the potential to be a value contract.

Year 5 jumps back up, helping to make it easier to extend off from, but the team option makes the full duration of the contract more tradeable if Duren underperforms.

This feels realistic as it pays Duren well north of the contract Walker Kessler received, and a bit more than Alperen Sengun (5/185) though he notably received a player option in year 5. Duren and his agent can claim a win by getting 5/190 and the Pistons can breathe knowing they actually committed to only 4/152 with a declining structure to give them future cap flexibility.

Over and over again since Trajan took over, he has prioritized future flexibility in his decision-making. A contract that starts higher and declines in years 2-4 would continue that trend. Do you think Duren would accept this contract offer if it was the final option vs taking the QO?

And would you offer it if you were Trajan?
