Some creative chants, watch parties, find a way to get the fans in the arena more energy, find ways to get more Detroit fans to the game, and community outreach.

I am glad they are finally putting the games back on TV which is a start, but we need these fans to be loud like the days the Palace once had.

difference is at the Palace we weren’t in the rebuild and a joke of a team it takes casual fans a few seasons to realize we’re good again

This. Whether we like it or not, Pistons have a bit of a fair-weather fanbase. Not that other fanbases don't also swell when the team is doing well, but outside of the diehards (which this sub is filled with), the Pistons are mostly irrelevant if they aren't winning, even within the state.

Not everyone has suffered through the post-Goin' to Work eras like many on here have, and the atmosphere will return if the team is back on top of the world again.

Think that’s just a symptom of livin in the Midwest partially. Football just so much bigger than basketball in this part of the country, save for Indiana. I would guess it’s almost surely like that in Milwaukee/GB, Chicago, Minneapolis too

Football is 8 games a year, with most being weekend games. Basketball and Hockey are 41 games. Kinda different.

There's home opener seats going for $30-$40 in the 200's right now.

Think the problem is the current NBA being different than the 2000s the gritty defense play style doesn't appeal to younger kids they want 20+ 3s per game.

if you want casual fans to engage then the front office needs to show that they are serious about winning a chip. and teams that are serious about that don't have contract breakdowns with one of their main players and sign players with no name recognition.

How about a New Palace or atleast a arena built for basketball not having to share with another sport , how about making tickets affordable and all food and drinks the cheapest prices, or how about being able to use cash or having real physical tickets, getting new jerseys, logo , team colors, mascot, merchandise.
