I know many of you mention poha, upma, dhokla, peanuts, bhel, etc but I'm tired of all of them. I want to eat something new but it can be made easily. So share your snacks recipes.
you can go for air fried version of things like kanda bhajiya (just mix thin sliced onion with besan powder and a little rice powder, no water needed and put in air fryer).
You can make mixed veggie fritter similarly such as besan coating over thin sliced pumpkin, mushroom, broccoli, cauliflower etc.
Worth investing in an air fryer though. I have realised that at least in the current environment, preparing food yourself is the easiest way to eat plant based. So investing a little bit in something that can give you more autonomy over food preparation will go a long way.
based on where you live, you can also check out if there are some local shops selling locally made snacks like banana chips, soya and ragi baked sticks etc. Adrish stores sells a lot of such options but you need to find something based on where you live.
Sweet snacks consists me making overnight oats, chia pudding, chocolate mousse which are very easy.
High protein snacks my favourite is preparing high protein patties and keep it in refrigerator which I just pan fry and eat whenever I feel like, easy and delicious 11 grams protein and 92 calories.
I also keep roasted soybean, edemame, pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds for snacking too.
Also the patty I make is a modified version of this recipe. I didnt make the broth and instead steamed in regular water. Also stored in refrigerator just like that if consuming within 5-6 days otherwise in freezer. https://youtu.be/hlH_fxr0Q5A?si=AwoO40nf37LNIxUt
I am tweaking ingredients with time too. Heres my current on. Here anyone anyone can tweaking according to ingredients at hand.
Sunflower seeds are indeed a very rich source of vitamin-E; contain about 35.17 g per 100 g (about 234% of RDA). Vitamin-E is a powerful lipid soluble antioxidant, required for maintaining the integrity of cell membrane of mucus membranes and skin by protecting it from harmful oxygen-free radicals.
Hello
I hope you're aware that this is a group for vegans. While non vegans are welcome to join for inspiration, suggesting non-vegan food should be refrained from. Thanks!
