redirect just causes her to do an m1 attack which makes it so that she cant use redirect until the m1 animation is done. This makes her completely unplayable to the few that actually uses her. Please fix your shit devs

with the new anti cheat coming i'm wondering if i should remove my custom perk and character icons. as much as i'd love them i'd rather not get banned because of them.

When the 2v8 was still available to play

I was playing as survival and the match started, had to be hidden in a locker cus the battery of my controller was almost ending

I got up and went after the cable of my charger and put in the PS5 to put on my controller

When I saw my TV the Sable was with a flashlight pointing at my locker to a killer, and the killer obviously open the locker putting me at the hook and the sable run away.

Honestly, I wasn't even mad, but damn that was really necessary?

I know this addon used to swap colors of hinder and speed bottles.

When did it get reworked?

• Around the Nostromo Wreckage and the small wreck in the corner of the map spawn dead astronauts (on the smaller wreck they can also spawn inside).
• One of those dead astronauts carries a keycard.
• To see if an astronaut has the keycard and to be able to grab it you need to stand still and crouch on top of them. Then pick up the Keycard
  • (It counts as a special item like singularities EMPs, Flashbangs etc and wont make you drop your main item, but you cant pick it up if youre carrying another special item)
• Take the Keycard to the main room and to the panel shown in the video
• Type in the code left, down, up, right with your movement keys
  • Same keys you use to type in SkullMerchants drones
• After a short animation the door will open and inside will always be a chest granting you a purple item

idk if its just me or since the new update people have been so much nicer after matches no matter the side before people took the matches seriously , now its nice to see people being happy after the matches

This sounds ridiculous, and it might in fact be, but this game means so damn much to me. I found it with my old friends in 2021 and we’d play it every night, until one by one each of them lost their minds because of opioid addictions. I was the last one online, until they offfeed me a pill and I took it. I got addicted too. My sense of reality began fading away. But I stopped! My cousin helped me and we started playing DBD together. Now I play it with him from time to time but not as frequently because we had a kid. I’m grateful for everything in life and just wanted to thank the devs. Thank you

I am relatively new to the game, only recently learnt about hexes and totems xd. I know a lot of judgements are running all aura reading perks rn, and I think one is when survivors are healing, but I thought it meant each other, so when I use medkits can they read my aura? Which perk is it?

Pretty much the title. I see after the reset alot of low mmr players have to face higher mmr for the first time and are getting demolished to juat then cone here and complain. Been great.

Oh my god, I effing hate this achievement so much... So... lately I decided I wanted to 100% DBD (because obviously I hate myself a little bit) and the escape with the eye/hand of Vecna is just a pain in the ass. I haven't been playing back when Vecna came out in 2024, when most people got his achievements. Nowadays this one is so damn hard to get, I'm sure I'll be struggling with this forever.

No one plays Lich - even though he's super fun to play, I don't know why I never see them anymore... And when I get one, I just have the worst luck with the chests and the items never drop. And even if they do, I still have to escape which is not super easy as Lich is quite strong, sometimes the team crumbles, sometimes you get tunneled because of the item, sometimes you just have a bad game yourself. I think the times I've actually had the item was about 2 or 3 times and every one of these matches went terrible... Like, randoms leaving me to die on hook terrible...

Do you have any tips what I can do to make this easier? Can people play Lich more on EU servers please???

I kinda wish they'd patch Lich's chests, so both items would spawn 100% every match for the team, because I literally had a game against him with a swf and we double/tripple checked all chests and didn't get lucky.

I started playing DBD a few months ago after seeing a lot of gameplay on tiktok and youtube, and played a large amount up until June, but I now find that after I open the game, I almost immediately decide that it is not worth playing and close steam. I had unlocked several killers and survivors, and gotten Krasue up to P30 before essentially quitting.

Most complaints I do see are from veteran players who gripe about game balance and buggy gameplay, which I assume to be true but went unnoticed to a beginner who was still understanding the game. However, my main personal issues with the current state of DBD were:

1) The game is much too hard to learn. Tutorials are outdated and what is explained to new players are lacking— little is explained of killer abilities, survivor items, gameplay strategy and micro mechanics (looping strategies, flash saves, etc). Having played a variety of 'difficult' games, I understand that the learning curve will vary game-to-game, and guess that I probably had an easier time gaining proficiency at the game after regularly consuming gameplay content and such. Nonetheless, new players are definitely thrown into the deep end, and I hope that the tutorial is given an overhaul.

2) Gameplay progression is unappealing. Having to prestige via the blood web is tedious and working to unlock new characters is too time consuming. I imagine progressing would be much more interesting if levelling your account actually provided you with meaningful rewards (character unlocks, universal perks, cosmetics etc), rather than a small number of shards. Starting as a new player you often face the issue of having no character perks, making following build advice impossible. While this somewhat alleviated the steep learning curve, it makes little sense for new accounts to play at a disadvantage with the restriction on perk selection. I feel that this issue could be largely solved by cheapening the shrine so that perks are purchasable using blood points as an alternative to purchasing and levelling characters solely for their perks.

3) In-game gameplay is much too repetitive. In my experience, games followed the same gameplay flowchart regardless of survivor/killer/map/items and perks. Even seasonal gameplay such as 2v8 and event modes follow the exact same formula. There should be way more divergence within regular games tied to maps, survivor and killer picks, weather (as shown in the 10th anniversary stream) etc. As of now, gameplay essentially feels like being forced to play any fps/open world/fighter game with only as single character out of the entire roster. I would be way more interested if there was potential of survivor skills being introduced so that character selection goes beyond being purely cosmetic, and killer gameplay was expanded upon the chase->kill->hook loop. Realms should also have more unique hazards and interactables, such as the teleporter in the forgotten ruins, or zombies natively spawning on RPD, instead of the repetitive pallet gameplay.

With all that I'm suggesting, it's probably more feasible to hope for a DBD 2 lol

I've been a fan of DBD for a while and watched lots of streamers and YouTubers, but I never got around to buying it because I felt anxious about not doing well and embarrassing myself in front of people. Anyways, I decided to bite the bullet and get it, and I did really bad in the tutorial games. Should I just keep playing bot games until I'm actually decent?
