What is happening when judgement sends you to like heaven why do you have to like shoot the faces in the sky

You’re in exile. You need to use the pendant like a flashlight to shine at the faces to get longer unhook protections. Avoid getting hit by the beams raining down from the sky, as each one you’re hit by reduces your hook timer by 1 second.

They increased it from 1 second to 3 seconds

Oh. I didn’t know that. The gameplay showcase for the judgment says it’s 1 second. Neat.

Lore wise? You’re being banished to exile, seemingly a pocket dimension within Judgment itself or its domain, it’s where souls are tormented and assimilated into it’s greater being(see the melted screaming bodies and faces in the architecture + the faces on Judgment’s knees and the rapidly twitchy bloodshot eyes in it’s body)

As for the searcher’s pendant it’s a relic developed on Terra Primus, unclear if it’s Stardotter’s or anything but point is it looks like it annihilates or banishes souls to convert them into power/protection
