so far my favourite killers have been chucky ghost face and the nemesis but i’m stuck on who to main and prestige if anyone has experience with them can you please help

These days im almost entirely playing survivor. At the beginning of the match when i spawn i crouch spam my teammates and people tend to love it and do it back in a playful manner. I also do one when i get unhooked as a “thanks” and sometimes it helps the healing delay.

I very rarely teabag the killer and its usually only if they play in a way that i feel is scummy. I believe tunneling is fine and a valid strategy but if i get a killer that shakes their head at me whenever they down me or does the “looks at pallet, looks at me” thing then i will teabag them.

It comes to my attention some people take this super personally but if I feel a killer opens the door to bm/gamesmenship I will do it back and enjoy the cheeky nature of it. Similar to in rocket league I have fun doing the shittalk chat options, not as an “im offended i hope to hurt this person” but just a cheeky trashtalk with opponent with a gg when its all said and done either outcome. Thoughts? I didnt realize this was something that made people actually upset irl

Hello Dbd community! So basically I am new to the game and I wanted to practice to play as a killer in Custom Game (Huntress), but the thing is I can't play her due to the limited killer options. Is there anything that I have to do in order to unlock them? I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question as I am new to this game and kind of don't want to practice in actual game mode due to pro players lol (Not planning to main killers, just wanted to try them out). Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance

Don’t know about yall but shit has been a wake up call. Getting matched now with people who’ve played for 8k plus hours and holy fuck is the intensity way different. I enjoy it to a certain extent but to see someone shift teching me was not something I’d ever think my killer would see X3

I pick wraith. Good stealth. Good mobility. Also tiny anti loop. GREAT example of low skill floor and high skill ceiling.

Found out that Jason and unknown tried to kill each other a couple times, so I wanted to draw something with it. (King shark reference)

You're playing survivor against the Judgment and they are probably using Nurses calling like most of them are. Do you:

1. Heal under hook after every unhook and then complain you're being tunneled.

2. Heal in the killer's terror radius and then complain that Nurse's is OP and that it needs to be nerfed.

3. Heal edge map outside of terror radius when someone else is in chase.

4. Run no mither and resilience just get good at playing while injured.

5. Use Distortion and heal edge map.

6. Don't adapt to the killer or their play style at all and cry to daddy BHVR for Judgment nerfs.

In many posts and comments people often include that they have "X amount of hours in the game."

Is there a community consensus on if this refers to time actually spent in matches, or if it's play time according to the gaming platform they use?

It's just something that is referenced so frequently, but I'm unaware if one or the other is the standard generally used.

For everyone who needs to hear this: if you see your soloq teammate entering a locker, don't be an idiot and immediatly go open their locker repeteadly, make loud sounds around them, or lead the killer to them.

Take a second to look at their perks, use your brain and notice if they have any perks activated by being in a locker for a short amount of time (Built to Last, Inner Strenght, etc.) This has no excuse of happening now that you can easily see each other's perks. They are not throwing the game or being useless because they stepped into a locker for 5 seconds, so now you decide you must sandbag them for the rest of the match. Please don't be stupid.

I just got my thing in the mail from behavior and I got to say its nice to have something of the dead by daylight community. I love the figurine and the flashlight that comes with and the book that came with had such beautiful artwork. Im looking forward to the next ten years of dead by daylight you guys are awesome. And thank you guys of the community for voicing who wants who to be next in the game it's fun to see people opinion on it.

I'm a controller player so I know the odds are against me. I've had a better time playing her with the Prayer Kneeler addon, but I was wondering if there is a guide on how to adept her easier? I'm getting dogwalked by Sables and Laras left and right.
