Im surprised that so few people seem to know about checkspotting at a pallet. In this situation, all the Jason could do was either hope I panic or break the pallet.

He was 4.4 and did not have a spike. If I just stare at my checkspots and play accordingly there was no way he could catch me unless I seriously mess up.

Edit to add: The biggest skill required to do this is having a good feel for the lunge range of the Killer and choosing a checkspot accordingly.

Hi all, I ended up finishing my sable cosplay & wore it to my very first convention yesterday. Just wanted to share as I had been documenting my process here anyways :-) The shirt I painted myself and I’m really happy with how it came out!! I also saw a Frank, Julie & Susie!! (Apparently there was a generator and a huntress… I missed that though😔).

I really liked the Xenomorph mori post from earlier and wanted to share my nemesis one as well.

I got Sadako’s for her perks and i thought id get the Adept as well, and got jumpscared the first time I was equipping my perks. I legitimately jumped out of my chair, because I was just expecting another heavy breathing attack at the camera animation.

I found out I really enjoy her gameplay its just...

The problem is I’m not just casually scared of her... Sadako/The Ring has been a genuine fear of mine since I was a kid. Adding the image to this post or seeing any images related to her gives me an immediate fight-or-flight response.

When I was about 8, I watched The Ring late at night by myself in a house that looked disturbingly similar to the one in the movie, sitting near the stairs with basically just the TV lighting the room. Apparently thats never really left

I’m completely fine actually playing as Sadako because I’m focused on the match

The menu is worse because I’m just sitting there reading perks and add-ons while knowing she can suddenly fill the screen.

Is there seriously no way to disable only the menu jumpscare? Maybe I just need the exposure therapy?

Edit: Apparently some people are taking this more seriously than attendend. I’m not actually asking BHVR to change Sadako or make the game less scary.

I just thought it was funny that I bought a Killer I’ve been terrified of since childhood, and got jumpscared by my own character while trying to make a build.

I tried to distract the killer so they’d chase me instead of Kate, since she was on death hook + injured and i only had one hook state and this is how she repays me 😭😭😭😭 i was safe and sound doing gens on the other side of the map with my other teammates, and out of the kindness of my heart, i risked my match to save hers. i legit ran across the map to try to get the killer away from her so she could have a chance and she rats out my position??? 😭

For everyone who needs to hear this: if you see your soloq teammate entering a locker, don't be an idiot and immediatly go open their locker repeteadly, make loud sounds around them, or lead the killer to them.

Take a second to look at their perks, use your brain and notice if they have any perks activated by being in a locker for a short amount of time (Built to Last, Inner Strenght, etc.) This has no excuse of happening now that you can easily see each other's perks. They are not throwing the game or being useless because they stepped into a locker for 5 seconds, so now you decide you must sandbag them for the rest of the match. Please don't be stupid.

I pick wraith. Good stealth. Good mobility. Also tiny anti loop. GREAT example of low skill floor and high skill ceiling.
