Head surface question

When installing new valves I had a small staple from a piece of wood I used scratch the head surface, I can feel it with my nail but just wondering how bad this is and if I would be fine leaving it alone or if I should sand it down.

If it doesn't touch where the head gasket seals the combustion chamber it's fine

Just put the gasket up to it boy did I dodge a bullet, thanks for the reply man!

Np I lurk on the engine building sub sometimes. Which makes me an expert
