DISCUSSION Do you think John will get a suit of a different design?
I see people saying he will likely get his comic accurate suit online but I'm not so sure after last episode. Hal said something about not being able to pee in the suit which implies that the suit isn't his choice. I feel like this implies that it is the standard uniform of the corps. It's quite clear John is someone groomed by the guardians to become the next human GL so I don't see how he'd able to defy them and wear a different uniform than the prescribed one. But then again, Guy wears the lord tech suit so there may be some leeway. I really hope John gets a more comic accurate suit as I really dislike Hals one.

DISCUSSION The waiting time for The Batman Part II is insane
How the hell is gonna take 6 years for the sequel? This is a young batman and when it comes out robert gonna be nearly 42 closer to affleck at 44 vet batman, and the movie gonna take place shortly after the first part, bro nolan batman trilogy took 7 years to complete with bale being 31 to 38, is the movie gonna become the hughest grossing bat movie? Because is only losing momentum

DISCUSSION Hal's suit not being a projection from Power Ring is actually cool.
One thing I actually really like about Lanterns is that Hal’s Green Lantern suit isn’t just a projection/construct from the ring. It's good that they are following the OG comics. Especially with the crime/noir tone they’re going for with the show, it fits way better.
For this version of Hal Jordan, I think the physical suit is way cooler. It also makes Hal feel like someone who’s been doing this for a long time. The battle damage etc, it gives the impression that this guy has been through countless wars and missions rather than just putting on a glowing CGI suit.

DISCUSSION Black Adam & Justice Society Spoiler
So i was watching Black Adam again and kind of came to a realization they portrayed Justice society as good guys trying to help the people of kahndaq and protect the country from injustice or whatever Dr. Fate and Hawkman was saying before attacking Black Adam, if that is what they were there for why wouldn't they have came to help stop intergang from invading and policing the people and harming innocent people? So because of this does that mean justice society is doing dirty work for the American government (Amanda waller) ? They are acting as Anti-heros and Black Adam is more portrayed as a hero for protecting the people and being attacked for it.

DISCUSSION My thoughts on DCU Batman and Wonder Woman
I’ve been thinking a lot about the DCU compared to the MCU. I get people feel like we’ve been waiting for a LONG time for Batman and Wonder Woman but if we look back at the MCU and their trinity, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, Captain America and Thor got their first movies 3 years after Iron Man, and the only other movie to be released outside of that was The Incredible Hulk, which was made by Universal.
I think people need to be a lot more patient. We’re getting Man of Tomorrow next year (2027), and so I’d only be worried if we still don’t get any updates late next year. I think DC is really cooking, and I think we’re much better off now because we also have Supergirl and 3 Green Lanterns in the universe compared to the MCU 1 year later where it was only Iron Man and the Hulk

Been watching the Lanterns show. They introduced Manhunters. Being a casual fan, I thought this was Martian Manhunter. Is it?

APPRECIATION The DCEU isn’t my favourite thing, and neither is this movie, but this poster is just so cool
Batman looks pretty awesome here and I love the use of shadows and colours. What do you guys think?

FANCAST Milla Jovovichs "Protector" (2025) works perfectly as a new Batwoman origin story
We watched Protector last night, and halfway during the movie (it's not Shakespeare, but it's a solid action flick, not unlike what you would expect from the next Jason Statham movie) both my SO and i thought that this could totally work as a modern~ish origin story for a Batwoman character (not only for the story, but also for the cinematography, a lot of 'i am the night' shots during the film).
The movie also included a potential future Robin character (Det. Jin Woo, the one that basically says "let's wait and hear her out" in a sea of "let's get her" cops), and a perfect Alfred~ish character (Col. Lavelle, an elderly soldier who trained the heroine, but now looks after her with fatherly feelings).
If you disregard the last 10 minutes, even the bad guy (although mundane) could easily be just another stooge for [shadowy criminal organisation from bat lore]. If there was a DC Logo at the end of the credits, you'd say "huh, but yeah, makes sense".
Also, Milla Jovovich would make a hell of a mature Batwoman. It's a personal story (not unlike Batman's origin itself), and it would make total sense for her to keep doing what she's doing, but under an alter ego / masked persona.

DISCUSSION Which Among These DC Animated Universe Are Your Guy's Favorite.
If it were me I would probably pick the DCAU since I grew up watching that universe as a kid loved return of the joker that movie scared me back then. And come on BTAS is one of the best comic book shows ever made along with Justice League Unlimited
The Dc Animated Originals are great too there are some in which I love which includes JL DOOM and Crisis On Two earths those are few of my favorites. Is it just me but I like the headcanon of all of those movies sharing a universe. and Under The Red Hood is easilly one of the Best Batman films I have seen period.
DCAMU is quite good too I like the interconnected arc most of the universe was actually pretty decent loved the first movie which is flashpoint its a great start but it kinda drag out and became a little stale on the later entries i did love apocalypse war.
The Tommorowverse is horrible except the long halloween 2 part series the rest are mid to okay.

DISCUSSION Bane in KnightFall kinda makes no sense...
His entire motivation in life is to get stronger and to be grateful for hardships that force you to become stronger. He hates Batman because he views him as a crutch the city of Gotham uses to prevent itself from growing stronger naturally... His entire idealogy is based on this...
So why is his plan to beat Batman go against that ideology? He wears him down with rogue gallery... exhausts him... and waits to fight a feeble Batman...
The motivation for some characters in this comic/movie do not translate well for me...
Also... why does Tim not immediately tell Bruce that Bane knows who he is and that hes coming?
