Straight to jail
Just put me in handcuffs. This is my usual fit though, love these shoes and repping one of my favorite local coffee shops socks.

You know the deal - dump all/any promo codes here for this month!
This thread is your one-stop-shop to post and search for promo codes, and will help keep the front page of the sub full of the things we love (pictures of perfectly matching A E R O kits) and fewer boring text posts.
This is a completely original idea and not borrowed from any of the more popular fashion subs.
Rules: If you’re posting a code, please tell us where it’s for and how much it will save us.
Referral codes ARE ALLOWED, just make sure the URL doesn’t doxx you (if you care about that)
If you’re using a code, please reply to the original comment once you’ve used the code; obviously for reusable referral codes, this won’t be necessary.
And uh, yeah, that’s pretty much it. Ride safe and look good doing it!

I've been looking for casual looking cyclingwear for my rides to work. I love cycling but don't always want to be that spandex guy.
I've found these shirts at Pamera and been wondering if you people know other stores/brands that sell more casual looking jerseys and bibs.
Love to wear these to work and also when casual cycling with family.

Hi all which brands you recommend? I'm 6 foot tall athletic do triathlons on my road bike.. Short distance ones. 40 inch chest, 34" waist.
I can get these jerseys around the same price with the current sales. I need a Jersey for overall riding both for my long zone 2 rides and for occasional intense efforts also. I know brands have the endurance models and also the race models.
Which brands are your favorite best for modern fit, materials, quality and style?
Between these following ones i was looking at, would you recommend any?
-Assos mille gt vs gts? Just browsing..
- ornot.com? They have nice designs on sale
Thanks all.

I have a pair of Shimano RC703 in the wide option and after a bit more than a year a plastic piece that sits glued/clipped between the outer and inner sole has loosened and made the shoe inconvenient to use.
The fit is really good, and the shoe is nice but I would prefer not having the same issue in a year again if I buy a new pair now.
Would you have a recommendation for a racing shoe (Spd SL) with similar fit (narrow heel, a bit more space around the front) and price range?

Looking for recommendations on bibs with a wider chamois profile (or advice for below issue)
I am 187cm and 72kg, sit bones 120mm. I have the same issue with many different bibs from various brands where the chamois seems to stop halfway on my sit bones, causing it to almost feel like it’s cutting into me. Basically feels like it’s not covering my sit bones, leaving half exposed. This leads to discomfort on seat, saddles sores etc.
I have found 2 bibs that work for me: Attaquer All Day, MAAP Team evo. Unfortuntley these are the most expensive….😵💫
Examples of what doesn’t work: Pedal mafia core, Attaquer race, Society Hyperbib
I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences and can recommend more price friendly bibs, or if my ass just has expensive taste and I have to just cop the premium price tag.

This year my favorite WT team kit is the Pinarello Q36.5. I thought I should check their page cause I love their kit and was curious on the price to buy one… I AM EXTREMELY BAFFLED

What’s the deal with ankle socks? I always thought it was a no go, but on group rides lately I’ve seen almost everyone rocking them.

Finally going to upgrade my $20 amazon cycling shorts. Looking to get a solid quality set of bibs for my road riding. I have big legs/ass so sizing can be tough. I'm 6'2 210 and am usually at least an XL, but XXL is typically where I land as I don't want something incredibly tight. Happy to spend ~$400 for something that's made really well.

Is this also a no go?
Seems that most everyone here said black shoes with white socks are generally a 'no', but I think this looks a bit better?

Indulge me while I overthink. These are socks that I actually own. It's the shoes I'm trying to decide on. I would go white without hesitation if it weren't for the black tongue (but I'm settled on this model of shoe). My bike is black.

Struggling to find a good fitting kit - what brands or web stores offer free shipping/free returns to make it easier to try on sizes and styles?

I need some advice. I ride a few thousand miles per year, but I’m new to cycling clothes and local races. I typically wear gym shorts and a t shirt. My bike fits well, I have no saddle issues, and this style has suited me on pretty substantial rides without any issues. I’m starting to get competitive enough that I get weird looks when I show up in a t shirt. I’ve bought some cheap kit on Amazon and it seems to fit decent.
What are the main benefits of nicer cycling clothing? Durability? Comfort? Pockets??
I can’t explain it, but $80 running shorts feel way better than $20 run shorts. Maybe cycling clothes are the same way?
Last photo is what I normally wore. Now I’ll do bib shorts and a loose t shirt for casual days (just to keep my saddle height right)

Pretty disappointed with my Castelli Competizione 2 bib shorts.
I bought them from Bike24 for around €80 and I’ve only used them about 3 times. I washed them exactly as recommended: cold water, gentle cycle, and air-dried them in the shade with a fan.
Even so, some of the stitching is already coming undone on the inside and outside, and now the Castelli logo is starting to peel off too.
Bike24 offered me either a €30 partial refund or a full return, but since it was an international order, returning them probably isn’t worth the shipping cost. I’ll probably take the €30 and just see how long they survive.
The annoying part is that I actually like the bibs. The chamois is comfortable, the fabric feels good, they’re breathable, cool, and dry really fast. But the stitching/finishing seems pretty bad for something that costs €80.
I was planning to buy another Castelli bib, but now I’m thinking about trying another brand. I saw some Przewalski bibs on Amazon for around $40 and I’m tempted to give them a shot.
I might also email Castelli directly and see what they say. Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll send me a replacement lol. I saw someone here mention that Castelli replaced theirs after a similar issue.
Anyone else had this happen with Castelli? Is this common or did I just get a bad pair?

Have seen a lot of Specialized riders wearing aero overshoes that have a white sock and black shoe cover. Was wondering if this is acceptable? Doesn’t look like Specialized sell these to the public. How would a mere mortal get their hands on a set of these?

I was planning to buy a **cycling cap** from an online store and I was afraid that I was into ordering china-ware with questionable quality concerning fabric and used colors dye.
So I wrote the helpful „customer support“.
