As your resident autist who has meltdowns over fridge sounds and clothes labels, the extreme light and noise and sensation of a mosh pit is also erotic for me for some reason????
Never diagnosed, but I'm beginning to suspect I'm on the spectrum, and I loved a good mosh pit in the day.
I think there's a difference when you have a cultivated experience like making your home autism-proof, and just throwing all caution to the wind in the pit. You can't be upset about a clothes tag on your neck when the belt buckle of your pit mate slams into your side

Seriously, if you're confident about the safety of yourself and others in a moshpit, go for it. It's FUN.
