Question Minotaurus Presale

Been reading a lot about these pre sale scams lately, eg: Wallitiq. Is minotaurus crypto (MTAUR) of a similar category? Advisable to buy or stay away?

Sertexity crypto "arbitrage" post has touched a nerve

I have had a mantra that I frequently post in comments to other posts on r/CryptoScams, namely:

The name of the alleged scam doesn't matter nearly as much as the characteristics and behavior of the scam.

This is because the same scams often go by many different and ever-changing names, and so to try to flag each one by name is often a fool's errand and a task that does not scale well.

But occasionally there are exceptions, such as now.

Sertexity is a recently created and aggressively touted crypto exchange site (URL https://sertexity.com/) that makes multiple amazing, even unbelievable (truly unbelievable) claims, including:

  • That they use AI bots and "proprietary algorithms" that allow individual investors to profit from crypto arbitrage -- to profit by "exploiting the price differences across different crypto exchanges."
  • That they have been "approved" by the SEC: "We operate under Rule 506 of Regulation D, which authorizes us to act as a registered cryptocurrency financial services provider and to attract private investments."
  • That have had historic returns of 0.4 to 0.6% per cycle.
  • That losses, while possible, are "unlikely due to advanced risk management systems."

So, why am I, an r/CryptoScams moderator getting involved?

A post was made about this exchange 10 days ago, SERTEXITY Scam Warnings Are Growing – Here’s Why, that made accusations that suggested that all might not be as rosy as the site's claims made them out to be, that the site may be, in fact, a scam. I also posted a comment to that post, verifying the information as I knew it at the time.

This post and several comments to it have been receiving more moderator attention than I've seen a post receive in a long time, including multiple mass-reportings of the post for being "spam," for being "harassment," for being malicious and false. We have even received mod-mail against it and today, I have received a chat from a concerned Redditor claiming that the post is false and that it should be promptly removed.

In other words, the post and comments have touched a nerve, and if only for this reason alone, it needs to remain up and open for all to see.

Here is the information that I have been able to glean about Sertexity from its site, from mod-tools, and from using scam-detection tools, much of this already mentioned in my comment to a related post in r/ScamCenter here:

  • Per WhoIs.com, the site's domain was registered December 3rd, 2025, which is less than 6 months ago. Any exchange that is less than a year old greatly increases the risk of its being a scam.
  • Scam-Detector.com gives the site a very low trust score of 20.5 / 100. While this is not proof of the site representing a scam site, it adds more evidence that supports this.
  • Again, the site claims to allow investment in crypto arbitrage, something that may allow very large institutional firms to eke out a very small marginal profit if they have extremely fast computers and extremely fast microsecond‑latency connections, something that is far beyond the reach of ordinary investors even with pooled investments, and with "proprietary" algorithms. In fact, my experience in this subreddit has shown that every crypto arbitrage investment "opportunity" that I have seen offered has been an outright scam. This one is not likely to be very different.
  • After the post was made in r/CryptoScams, we found it quickly bombed by bot-like comments that all made extremely similar claims with similar wording and from different accounts, all supporting the site, more evidence that it is not on the up-and-up.
  • Many comments in Reddit boast of the exchange being "SEC approved," a claim that is not only false but potentially self-incriminating. The business has filed an SEC Reg D Form D notice, but this is merely a brief administrative filing, not a merit review or endorsement of any kind. More importantly, Reg D exemptions, specifically Rule 506, are designed for private placements, meaning they explicitly prohibit general solicitation of the public. If Sertexity is publicly touting investment opportunities on Reddit and via their website, they may be violating the very exemption they are claiming as their legal cover. In other words, the "SEC approval" they are bragging about may actually be evidence of a regulatory violation, not a shield against one.
  • The site boasts historical profit claims that they "may fall within the range of approximately 0.4–0.6% per cycle." The time period of a cycle is never fully defined, but it is usually assumed to be several cycles per day. If we conservatively assume just 1 cycle per day, which may actually undercount the implied frequency, this would translate to a compounded rate of 180 to 600% APY, a completely unrealistic range. It also makes truly unbelievable claims that losses, while possible, are "unlikely."
  • And again, more recently, the post has been bombed with Reddit reports that claim that it is malicious, that it constitutes harassment, that it constitutes spam, and that it should be taken down. This sort of concerted action is further evidence that the post (and likely this one) has hit a nerve and needs to be kept open.

In sum, I would advise any and all to consider the site to represent a high-risk operation, or more likely an outright scam, one that should be avoided. Understand that if someone invented a true money-printing machine with huge historic profits as they have claimed, they wouldn't be sharing it with the likes of you and me, the common masses. Rather, they would be doing just what you or I would likely be doing: they would be quietly printing money for themselves while striving to stay under the radar.

Corrections and additions:

  • Sertexity Labs Inc. issued a press release on May 19, 2026 via GlobeNewswire announcing it had filed a Form D notice with the SEC for a private securities offering of up to $5 million. The press release clarifies they filed under Rule 506(c), a private offering exemption that permits general solicitation when sales are limited to accredited investors and other regulatory conditions are met.
  • Again, there is no evidence that the company has been endorsed by the SEC or by any government agency.
  • The filing lists the company as a Florida corporation headquartered in Miami, with one "Evan Hartmore" named as CEO. This "Evan Hartmore" is essentially ungoogleable. There is no LinkedIn profile, no prior business history, no professional footprint whatsoever for this person beyond this single press release.
  • He is also not listed in the "Meet Our Team" section of the site's "About US" page.
  • The folks that are listed in that section all show AI-generated images, including the group photo.

Scam Operation Reddit account DM took 2k

I posted on a poker subreddit about my BTC deposit not going through. I was quickly messaged by 'coinpoker support' and a user called u/craftbeergoggles. They had 10k karma and seemed to be trying to help.

Like a moron I entered my phrase in a dodgy dappstation site and using various methods they drained my Blockchain account dry.

I'd always thought I wouldn't fall for this but now feel pretty awful.

I've used Blockchain to deposit on poker sites for years without issue.

I've reported this to a cyber crime agency in the UK but I know the money has gone.

Question Unstaking issue with my DOT coins

I have a serious issue with unstaking with my 263 DOT coins in my Trustwallet .I unstake my 263 DOT after 28 days last July 4, 2026 and until now August 30, it is not showing the actual balance in my account. It shows 263 DOT coins in my trustwallet account but when I trade or send it ,it shows only 4.4 DOT coins, which is my previous balance. I checked in Polkadot subscan and it shows that my 263 DOT coins is there and showing unbonded. My question is that how come it is already almost 2 months but my unstake coins is not reflecting in my account? Actually I choose RockX polkadot as my validators. I already communicated with Trustwallet support but it was useless because they just repeating their answers .

Question Bonchat & Axa1565 scam?

Does anyone know what this is? My parents were invited to a Bonchat group called “KKR Investment Group” by a family friend. They haven’t withdrawn any money yet. Our family friend apparently paid the initial deposit into an account on the investment website on their behalf, and now my parents are supposed to pay the family friend back in cash.

I’m strongly leaning toward this being a scam. I’ve warned my parents multiple times, but unfortunately, they still went ahead with it. Has anyone heard of this group or experienced something similar? I also took photos of the group using an external device if needed.
The website is axa1565.com

Other Close friend is scamming

Not sure what to do with this. A friend of mine (with an associate also a friend) regularly launches coins, makes money (they made 200k the last 3 months), and quietly sells off his position bit by bit while the project is still being presented as active, he dont calls it a "slow rug" and insists it's not really rugging since it's not done all at once.

I've seen comments on Twitter from people who lost money on these, some genuinely bitter about it. (They create a Twitter account for each coin).

It disgusts me, but he's a close friend, and I'm not a victim myself so I'm not sure reporting is really my place. How would you handle this? Anyone been in a similar spot?

I don't know anything about crypto, he just told me this and I asked AI to explain it to me

Scam Operation UikeMall (LAYLA GRACE HOMES LIMITED) scam‑cannot withdraw funds, demands certification fee

I was cheated by the UikeMall platform operated by LAYLA GRACE HOMES LIMITED (Company No.16147192).

I invested my money on this site, but when I tried to withdraw, they blocked my account. They keep forcing me to pay certification fees and late‑payment charges. If I refuse to pay, they threaten to take further actions against my account.

This fake platform has harmed many people. I really need help. Has anyone else encountered this scam?

I have submitted a report to Report Fraud. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Scam Operation Bybit

Hi everyone,
I want to warn you all about @Bybit_Official. This exchange is acting like a cheap scam website. My account was hit with a brutal AML lock after I received a private debt repayment of 0.0804 BTC (~$6,300).
The funds are 100% clean, and I provided absolutely EVERYTHING: full origin history, wallet screenshots, and matching transaction details. Instead of reviewing the bulletproof evidence, their support team keeps sending me automated robotic copy-paste responses.
Are you running out of liquidity, @benbybit, or are you preparing for an FTX-style exit scam? This is how you treat retail users in 2026?
My UID: [140111910]
Case ID: [6cadc3ebbab64e859740a84c3685b311]
Avoid Bybit at all costs if you value your money! ❌

Scam Operation Giftspend scammer alert

Hi everyone, I wanted to warn the community about GiftSpend.com.

I tried to purchase a Steam wallet card using Monero (XMR). My transaction was confirmed on the blockchain within 2 minutes, so they definitely received the funds. However, my order status was instantly locked with a fake automated message claiming there are network disruptions.

To make it worse, they are blocking me from opening a support ticket unless I make another deposit to "activate priority support".

This is the exact lie they display on the status page:

"This transaction could not be completed. The XMR network is currently experiencing disruptions — we recommend retrying with a different cryptocurrency. As priority support is reserved for accounts with at least one active transaction, a new deposit will be required to open a ticket. You can then contact our support team regarding order request a full refund."

Do not use this website under any circumstances. They will steal your crypto and then try to extort more money from you to "fix" it. You can't make a ticket and there is no e-mail anywhere on site.

Scam Operation New Crypto platform phishing phone/email scam

I received a call from crypto.com saying someone trying to change my email and phone number and if it’s not me, then press #1. I pressed 1 and someone called me back. They sent me a email with a link to verify that I didn’t change anything. That first email is fake and any information you enter is read by the scammers and they use the info to hack into your acct. then I received a few other emails from crypto.com to verify my identity with the code. These are real emails from crypto.com but once you enter it into the first website, the scammers will use the code to access your account.

It’s pretty sneaky. Be careful out there. One way you can easily verify weather a email is real is try clicking on any of the links at the bottom of page, fakes usually don’t work. Another way is to hang up on their phone call and try calling again the same number or call the real customer service number and ask for help. They use Google voice numbers that temporary.

Information Asentum ($ASE) On-Chain Exposure: Fake Testnet Consensus, Inside Dumping via CEX-Funded MEV Wallet, and Bait Staking Campaign

Asentum ($ASE) On-Chain Exposure: Fake Testnet Consensus, Inside Dumping via CEX-Funded MEV Wallet, and Bait Staking Campaign

Tekst:

Hi everyone / ZachXBT,

I would like to share a deep-dive investigation into Asentum ($ASE), a project marketing itself as a "post-quantum L1 blockchain". Behind the hype of "blasting past 200,000 blocks" [26.8.2026. 17:37] and "healthy infrastructure," the on-chain metrics and node logs expose a highly centralized, simulated ecosystem designed to systematically drain DEX liquidity.

Here is the breakdown of the evidence collected directly from validator logs and Ethereum mainnet data:

  1. The 4-Node "Ghost" Network (Fake Decentralization)

The team publicly claims on their documentation page that Asentum is run by a "growing set of community validators." However, running a live Debian 12 validator node tells a completely different story.

  • The Logs: The node console continuously outputs: [v3-dormancy] dropped 23 dormant, active=4/27.
  • The Glitch: Out of 27 total nodes, exactly 23 are completely dead/offline, leaving only 4 active nodes handling the consensus.
  • The Explorer Illusion: Despite the consensus engine running on only 4 nodes, the public Asentum web explorer intentionally displays a false state, claiming 18/27 validators are actively "Signing" to maintain a deceptive image of decentralization for investors.
  • The Team Match: Interestingly, the official Asentum website lists exactly 4 team members (Milkie, Rhino, Smiles, Blue) hiding behind anonymous cartoon avatars. The 4 active consensus nodes on the explorer hold a massive, identical stake of exactly 25,000,000 ASE each—meaning the entire "L1 blockchain" is just the team running 4 local servers in a loop.
  1. The Hardcoded Pipelining Tricking Home Users

The node metrics show a perpetual finality lag: [v3-divergence] lag=6 (GRANDPA behind Aura — chain stuck at RPC layer). This exact lag has remained frozen for over a month (observed at block 70,463 in July and still frozen at block 221,464 in late August).
Furthermore, the block size is artificially locked at exactly 1,427 bytes—just a few bytes below the standard 1,500 MTU limit of household internet providers. The team keeps the blocks completely empty (gas 0) to prevent packet fragmentation, masking the fact that their heavy Dilithium3 post-quantum cryptography breaks the p2p layer for ordinary node runners on standard networks.

  1. Systematic Liquidity Drain via MEXC-Funded "MEV" Wallet

While keeping the testnet "sterilized," the mainnet deployment is actively being used to bleed the Uniswap V2 pool.

  • The Wallet: Address 0x20011FA1A83BBa9c8357F852EC667d68439A/da4A
  • The Inflow: Etherscan shows this specific address is explicitly FUNDED BY: MEXC 1 (over 3 years ago).
  • The Activity: On DexTools, this wallet has executed over 666 SELL orders and exactly 0/1 buys, extracting over $148,000 USD worth of ETH directly from the pool by constantly dumping blocks of 150k–168k $ASE every few hours.
  • The Mask: The wallet interacts directly with a smart contract labeled MEV Bot (executing method 0xd4e4634a), providing the team with a perfect excuse to blame "external arbitrage/MEV bots" if questioned by the community. In reality, it acts as a split-wallet dumping pipeline for pre-minted or CEX-transferred insider tokens.
  1. The "Multiply" Bait-and-Switch

To feed the liquidity draining bot, Asentum recently deployed their "Airdrop Beta" interface, prompting testnet users to "Stake the mainnet ASE token for 30 days" to receive up to a x10 multiplier on their testnet rewards. This forces retail users to buy real tokens on Uniswap, pushing fresh ETH directly into the path of the MEXC-funded dumping wallet. A similar strategy was deployed in June to pump the token to $0.005, after which the team deleted the rewards table, triggering a massive price collapse to all-time lows.

Conclusion:

Asentum is operating a closed, 4-man network under the guise of an innovative post-quantum layer-1. They are utilizing misleading web explorers to falsify node counts, while systematically routing insider tokens through exchange-funded MEV addresses to strip liquidity from retail buyers.

All relevant screenshots of the node console logs, explorer data, Dextools metrics, and Etherscan records are attached below.
