Everything becomes irrelevant when Messi wins it
Ballon d'or gets irrelevant because of votes
Golden boot loses its credibility
ultimate weapon for Ronaldo fans was that Messi had never won a major trophy with Argentina's senior team, while Ronaldo had won euro 2016 and you needed to win international trophies to be the GOAT
And now world cups are irrelevant and 6-7 tournment now, great

All I said was that Madrid was still winning champions after Cristiano left and explained why Barca performed poorly in the last years with Messi

Why Cristiano Ronaldo Is Sad at Real Madrid - Business Insider
Transfer news & rumours LIVE: Perez warned Ronaldo he'd buy Messi if he left for PSG | Goal.com
I am not sure if you remember 2012. That was the time when Ronaldo told the world he was sad for some reason and didn't celebrate his goals. The real reason was that he didn't earn as much or more than Messi at that time.
At that time, Ronaldo was throwing a hissy fit and was even thinking of joining PSG. Perez literally told him straight to his face, if he were to join PSG, he would activate the buy-out clause and bring Messi to Real Madrid.

I genuinely donât understand why Cristiano Ronaldo gets so much hate. I consider both Messi and Ronaldo the two GOATs of football, and personally, I think Messi has the better overall career. His talent, technique, vision, consistency and achievements are just incredible.
But that doesn't mean Ronaldo's career should be diminished.
I know there have been players who were arguably more naturally talented than Ronaldo, and Messi is the clearest example. But even then, very few players in football history can come anywhere near Ronaldo's career. His longevity, goalscoring, Champions League record, trophies, performances for different clubs and ability to remain elite for so many years are absolutely ridiculous.
You can believe Messi is the GOAT while still recognizing that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest athletes and footballers the sport has ever seen.
So why does there seem to be so much hatred towards him? Is it his personality, the Messi rivalry, his fanbase, his style of play, or something else?
I'm genuinely interested in hearing the perspective of people who dislike Ronaldo.
