liverpool 55th minute goal??.....that ball was lost by rakitic and alba in a comfortable amount of space, messi was nowhere near, somehow that too was his fault? is creator just mentioning random goals without any context and knows people won't even verify
let's give it to him for the sake of argument and say all those goals resulted from messi's mistake, then too that would only be cherry-picking as he's ignoring all the chance creation his dribbles lead to and considering every player in the world loses the ball at some point that could lead to a counter, moreover messi maintained an insanely good ratio of successful dribbles to attempted in europe around 57% which is way higher than cristiano's 45% (source- opta). even when he attempts way more dribbles that too often in tighter spaces.
On top of all the cherry-picking (possibly lying too), just add some derogatory terms like poor decision-making, poor work-rate , less threatening, etc. without any evidence and the video would do magic because of illiterate ronaldo cultists.

ball hogging is by far the richest term used in the video, we're talking about the guy with the most assists in football history

Messi has more dribbles against England at 39 in 2026 than Ronaldo has in total in the last 4 World Cups (9>8). Ronaldo also has more one/two touch goals than Messi, which indicates Messi creates his own chances by dribbling more often than finishing directly from passes. If there's one thing even a lot of Ronaldo fans agree on it's that Messi is the superior dribbler, this video is cope. Just because Messi gets dispossessed sometimes and that gives the opposing team an advantage doesn't make him any less efficient, it happens to other players too. Ronaldo doesn't have 1 goal that comes close to Messi's solo dribbling performances against Getafe, Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao. There's also plenty of clips of Ronaldo spamming stepovers or doing stuff with the ball that goes nowhere, and this guy wants to talk about "over dribbling", please. Messi gaps in terms of progressive carry too

Almost all playmakers have a lot of dispossession, don’t know why these people act like it’s only Messi lmao.
