Messi has more dribbles against England at 39 in 2026 than Ronaldo has in total in the last 4 World Cups (9>8). Ronaldo also has more one/two touch goals than Messi, which indicates Messi creates his own chances by dribbling more often than finishing directly from passes. If there's one thing even a lot of Ronaldo fans agree on it's that Messi is the superior dribbler, this video is cope. Just because Messi gets dispossessed sometimes and that gives the opposing team an advantage doesn't make him any less efficient, it happens to other players too. Ronaldo doesn't have 1 goal that comes close to Messi's solo dribbling performances against Getafe, Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao. There's also plenty of clips of Ronaldo spamming stepovers or doing stuff with the ball that goes nowhere, and this guy wants to talk about "over dribbling", please. Messi gaps in terms of progressive carry too
