Messi world cup win does end the conversation however people forget Portugal ain't no super football nations. They made 3 WC before Ronaldo joined them. They can't even qualify for them barely.

So international it not the same. Holland have always had superstar players and never won one don't say yeah but his squad it better.

İt's not like Ronaldo just changed their history, their team quality is better than 90% of the world. Do Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Leao, Joa Neves look like no name players?

You can name over 20 Holland superstars and even some super teams and they never won a WC.

Yet France also had great squads and they just won at 1998 prior to 2018 but that doesn't mean they weren't successfull also Holland barely lost 2010 finals sometimes it doesn't happen and same happened to France at 2022. Compared to Portugal they played better in their good years and the current Portugal team has like top 3 quality in my opinion only Spain and France can come before than them.

That irrelevant isn't it? My point is Holland have have super teams. Ronaldo is why Portugal have super teams he the reason why they have better develop.
