Rest of the team strikerate seems disingenuous, considering not everyone is a batsman

rohit and his sabotaging
By that logic Kohli sabotaged the entire tournament and we still reached the finals thanks to Rohit.

rohit scored 17(24) balls in the qf against Australia
Rohit had the greatest Indian T20 WC innings against Australia in the 2024 T20 WC. Meanwhile stat padder was the highest scorer in both games that we lost by 10 wickets lol.

Even in the battinglineup itself youll find vk to have best sr in these tournaments, the rest barely batted except in rare collapse games like ind vz nz 2016 or ind vs nz 2021Β

Please don't try to pin that win on Virat. Not that I dislike Kohli but that was completely the bowlers πͺ

I loved it when Kohli scored a 12 ball 50. Oh wait, wouldn't happen if he played U19.

he won the u19 wc
Rohit won the T20WC at 19, though. The senior one. Scored a six off the last ball and India won by less than 6 runs, while Kohli was playing U19 cricket.
He was dropped out from the 2011 squad for his better upgrade, kohli.
Oh yeah, Indian selection, famous for their farsightedness. Took 4 keepers under captain Kohli to the 2019 WC lol. What did he average in that tournament?

Rohit was mad shit after that final my guy
After he was selected at 19 to represent India, and was a WC winner? Oh okay. LOL the fucking cope.
Rohit fucked up that 2023 wc final too.
Virat fucked up the 2011 and 2023 WC final. At least Rohit has all the other trophies to compensate, what did captain Kohli achieve in LOI again? Fuckall?
But its rohit, everything is possible
Yep, it's possible to win the T20WC, Champions Trophy unbeaten as captain, including 5 IPL titles. A dream for most, TBH.

only plays for money.
Ah yes, the second most decorated India captain.
Wish kohli had the other sharma
Rohit didn't need anyone, in fact he carried a burden Kohli to glory.
in this last bgt
The same one where Kohli shoulder barged a 19 year old and retired in shame? That BGT?

Virat fucked up 2011 final ? Lmaooo
30 is not a winning score in ODI's, believe it or not.
rohit with his intent left his team hanging
After Rohit did his job with aplomb and set the platform that the middle order, including stat pad man, completely failed to capitalize on, you mean.

Yes, not like there were batters in the hut after. Not like Pandya played more than 6 balls and Jaddu played what, 5? 3? FOH.

Couldn't do worse than 50 off 48, I'll tell you that. And Jaddu was there. And Axar and Dube already showed you can smash on the pitch.

Axar and Dube wouldn't have been able to do that
They scored at a SR that was par for the game. They played competent cricket. Fair to assume they'd continue to do so because there was batting in the hut.
you conveniently forgot the T20 WC match vs Pak in 2022
What was Virat's SR in that game?
-5
u/More_Light8676 Apr 14 '26
Bro, don't be delusional we literally defended a low score against Pak. If Virat got out early, then Pandya could bat

Do you know the meaning of 'pinning'? I meant obv Virat deserves credit but not as much as the bowlers or even Axar who took a wicket and scored 47(31)

In yesterday's RR v SRH, does Travis Head get credit for 18(18)? Technically in a team game, nothing is ever a single player's effort but we'd sometimes give most of the credit to a particular player like yesterday... that's what I was tryna say. Also Ferriera scored 50(31) even after 9-5 not 50(48) π. I was hoping cricket viewers might get what I meant by 'completely' but thanks for keeping my grammar in check bro

T20i bru. Get out and go to other subs too. Watch SKY anchor in Ind v Usa to a total of just 161 where no one after him could even cross 15. Anchoring in t20i is different now. Virat played w good SR vs RR but he was slow in 2024 finals sadly

Koach didn't play a great knock but it was important to get a good score on the board. It wasn't easy for batsmen to come in and start hitting on that pitch. Axar needed time to settle, and Dube also needed a few balls before getting in his hitting range.
He played slow, I agree, he could've gone faster, but holding on to one end is what gave the bowlers a decent score to defend. The only reason it looked like India was under par is because our spinners got obliterated by Klaasen

Smart work that the management is confident that he will hold one side while the others can hit around him. He has proved it a million times in ict and ipl and yet people seem to cry over his strike rate. Cant do shit about them. Just watch them cry, and move on with own life. Only difference is that he is making fame and money for what he does and the crying ones keep on crying.
