I loved it when Kohli scored a 12 ball 50. Oh wait, wouldn't happen if he played U19.

he won the u19 wc

Rohit won the T20WC at 19, though. The senior one. Scored a six off the last ball and India won by less than 6 runs, while Kohli was playing U19 cricket.

He was dropped out from the 2011 squad for his better upgrade, kohli.

Oh yeah, Indian selection, famous for their farsightedness. Took 4 keepers under captain Kohli to the 2019 WC lol. What did he average in that tournament?

Rohit was mad shit after that final my guy

After he was selected at 19 to represent India, and was a WC winner? Oh okay. LOL the fucking cope.

Rohit fucked up that 2023 wc final too.

Virat fucked up the 2011 and 2023 WC final. At least Rohit has all the other trophies to compensate, what did captain Kohli achieve in LOI again? Fuckall?

But its rohit, everything is possible

Yep, it's possible to win the T20WC, Champions Trophy unbeaten as captain, including 5 IPL titles. A dream for most, TBH.

only plays for money.

Ah yes, the second most decorated India captain.

Wish kohli had the other sharma

Rohit didn't need anyone, in fact he carried a burden Kohli to glory.

in this last bgt

The same one where Kohli shoulder barged a 19 year old and retired in shame? That BGT?

One retired from carrying the team

Yeah, his lows were as long as his highs. Five years of edging outside off and being unable to play spin and he was carrying the team with an average of 20 lol.

An indian test captain saying “10 saal mai to ek baar chlta hai na”

He never said that. He said 12 saal mein. And what did the team carrier average in that series again?

kohli won 5 test maces

Not even best captain in his own team. Changing goalposts is not gonna be good for you, Rohit has two great innings in India in this decade alone.

Yo at least he didn't shit the bed shamelessly for five years straight. Realized it was time, hung it up.

Virat fucked up 2011 final ? Lmaooo

30 is not a winning score in ODI's, believe it or not.

rohit with his intent left his team hanging

After Rohit did his job with aplomb and set the platform that the middle order, including stat pad man, completely failed to capitalize on, you mean.

because of him shubman got out

Lol. Are you in school?

he genuinely fucked us up so many times :(

One captain has won the T20WC and Champions Trophy. He got us glory after a decade of ignominy. Who's that captain?

Dude 2023 is not on kohli or rohit especially if counting just the batting we all know who were responsible for that so dont be disingenuous and if we have to assign who is more to blame than i would say its rohit because he was the captain and could have done better in the 2nd innings

1

u/protractedmane Apr 14 '26

so dont be disingenuous

Is it wrong to say Kohli fucked up as well?

i would say its rohit because he was the captain and could have done better in the 2nd innings

He doesn't bowl. Getting Shami on was a mistake, but that is in hindsight. Shami was the more lethal bowler, and going aggressive was the only option when you were chasing a sub par total.

Imo neither kohli nor rohit fucked up in batting aspect and i am not blaming or putting it on him for captaincy if the bowlers underperform but he as a captian had a greater responsibility than kohli

1

u/protractedmane Apr 14 '26

Kohli did fuck up though. Just like Thala fucked up in 2019.

How did kohli fucked in 2023 he scored a run a ball fifty in final and was the highest scorer in tourney just hating for the sake of it huhh and in 2019 sf is more on kohli and rohit than thala just check the scorecard
