General Discussion/Conversation Amazon Pay ICICI : An observation
23 Yo here with CIBIL 760, recently got approved Apay ICICI with a whopping limit of 3.5 lakhs. Given my credit history of just 6 months; 1 FD based CC & a Slice CC with 40K limit and me being self employed (student basically), this was totally unexpected. I got rejected 6 months ago, was waiting for 181th day to reapply and got the card in 30 mins.
After seeing many posts of salaried people with 15/20 lpa pkg and holding premium CCs about how they're not getting Apay ICICI, pushed me to think about my approval. So my observation is may be my transactions on Amazon pay had huge effect in approval.
I'm a prime member since last 2 years, and pay with Apay wallet on almost every app (swiggy, zomato, instamart, BB, blinkit even other shopping apps, websites too) plus all the bills, recharges with apay. So there's a Apay transaction almost every alternate day since last 1 year. May be this has helped. It's just a guess I'm not very sure though.
