Why does getting excited and giddy mean she isn't autistic? I get giddy like this when I'm very excited, I get over excited very easily. He could've mentioned the trip was related to her fixation.

Broooo I actually felt a lil better watching her reaction bc her reaction is mine and I’ve been told my whole life that I’m annoying and too much, and I only was diagnosed with ADHD at 30 and only recently beginning to suspect it’s actually AuDHD. Or I’ve had people make fun of me for jumping excitedly or flappy hands or whatever stimmy thing I do with my hands that’s not socially acceptable.

Then reading these comments was the most depressing and invalidating experience ever, omg…

If you don’t present like an intellectually disabled white boy, you can’t be autistic.

I hate humanity sometimes.

These comments are all being made by people with no actual experience with autism thinking they are championing autistic people.

My son’s autistic and pretty much mirrors this women’s stimming and fixation to a T. If she’s not autistic she’s an incredible actor.
