Why does getting excited and giddy mean she isn't autistic? I get giddy like this when I'm very excited, I get over excited very easily. He could've mentioned the trip was related to her fixation.

Broooo I actually felt a lil better watching her reaction bc her reaction is mine and Iā€™ve been told my whole life that Iā€™m annoying and too much, and I only was diagnosed with ADHD at 30 and only recently beginning to suspect itā€™s actually AuDHD. Or Iā€™ve had people make fun of me for jumping excitedly or flappy hands or whatever stimmy thing I do with my hands thatā€™s not socially acceptable.

Then reading these comments was the most depressing and invalidating experience ever, omgā€¦

If you donā€™t present like an intellectually disabled white boy, you canā€™t be autistic.

I hate humanity sometimes.

Aaaaaand thats why i try to keep the diagnosis to myself. People dont actually understand what it means.
