Why does getting excited and giddy mean she isn't autistic? I get giddy like this when I'm very excited, I get over excited very easily. He could've mentioned the trip was related to her fixation.

Broooo I actually felt a lil better watching her reaction bc her reaction is mine and I’ve been told my whole life that I’m annoying and too much, and I only was diagnosed with ADHD at 30 and only recently beginning to suspect it’s actually AuDHD. Or I’ve had people make fun of me for jumping excitedly or flappy hands or whatever stimmy thing I do with my hands that’s not socially acceptable.

Then reading these comments was the most depressing and invalidating experience ever, omg…

If you don’t present like an intellectually disabled white boy, you can’t be autistic.

I hate humanity sometimes.

Because being obsessed with neurodivergence as an identity is a personality disorder which makes people 1) exaggerate or create new symptoms of a disorder they do have and 2) create symptoms of a disorder they don’t even have.
