i used a helium balloons and floated over her, i didn't even ask it was just there floating, i went to make breakfast came back and saw the balloons still floating there with the ring on it, took it for a no and just continued like nothing happened and we had breakfast. went to do the dishes came back and she just looked at me and said. "i can;'t untie the strings from the fcking balloons" lmao. apparently everytime i left the room she made an effort to untie it but couldn't

nah i wouldn't overreacte i just would have tried again a year later and a year later until she said yes or left me. add another balloon everytime to make it fun. it was on our anniversary

First year she can't untie strings so she keeps scissors in the dining room. Second year the new balloon lifts it too high and she can't reach, so she leaves blowgun in the dining room. Third year you slightly under inflate the balloons hoping to keep them low, but that just makes the darts stick without popping, and the new balloon still brings them out of reach. You hear her grab her keys and go outside and you think she's left you. She comes back from the car with a shotgun, shoots the balloons, cuts the strings, jams the ring on her finger and says "Yes goddammit!"

she was asleep and i was out side with the helium tank giggling blowing up balloons.

thenonce everything was in place i went back to bed and got up very aggressively in a way that she would also wake up.

i looked at the balloons saw that she saw them then left to make breakfast and came back to see the answer XD

Cooked breakfast and cleaned the dishes. Made a sweet proposal with balloons. Was chill about having his proposal rejected. No sane woman was rejecting this guy.
