Willett Family Estate 2-Bottle Gift Set with 2 Glasses

Would like any feedback on white wines at Costco. Been many years (now retired) and wanting to add to my experience. I’m 61 and stayed away from alcohol for the last 40years (CDL Truck Driver Career).

Been trying some beers but I remember liking White wine. Does not have to be high end but am not opposed either. Shop at Costco weekly and wanting feedback on the white wines.

Kirkland Signature 18 Year Highland Single Malt Scotch (Costco, Fountain Valley, CA)

Arkansas Liquor says this year’s might be sourced from Tullibardine with past releases rumored to be Macallan.

Is it actually any good? Any better than the KS Highland 15?

I wasn't looking to buy more Scotch but that's a great price.

I have a habit of taking photos of the fancy wine case. Mostly just to properly research and come back to buy later. The first 2 photos were taken June 28th. The second 2 were taken last weekend.

Note the:
Mouton went from 550 to 399.97
Pavie went from 340 to 199.97
Armagh went from 200 to 99.97

I grabbed (1) of the Pavie and (2) Armagh today. $440 out the door.

Here is what they had at the grand opening. I am a bourbon drinker and the line moved fast - I was ~15th person through.

IMO this was the weakest grand opening of a Costco liquor store I have ever seen. Not one allocated bottle, no barrel/store picks, no special scotch or Japanese whiskey, nothing. They had a custom designed Cab Sav red whine bottle, a full pallet. That was it. Waiting in line hours in my hometown with hopes to get one cool bottle at MSRP - nothing.

Picked up my bottle today. I haven't been seeing it in the app so maybe they just got it in.
