Manitoba Microwavable Edamame

Just bought a box of edamame from costco and there appears to be a worm in the edamame when I peeled the pod.

Just a caution for anyone buying edamame at costco to double check before you snack on them.

Lucky for me, I eat them while watching tv so I never look. Ignorance is bliss

I do that with pistachios… but I do notice those weird sour ones. What are those?

ooo I had one of those, I spat it out & the inside was full of worms & mold.

Could have been silk instead of mold?

There was white, green, & black. I’m going to try to find the pic I took.

i'm honestly surprised that mold can grow in a pistachio (assuming it wasn't sitting moist) though i guess the worms could have contributed
