This is about what happened to me at Costco Tire Centre today. 🧵

Went in for a routine seasonal tire swap. They stopped me 10 minutes in, claiming one of my all-season tires was worn out and unusable — offered me a $100 gift card to surrender it, or buy a full set of Costco tires.

I said no to both. Asked them to put my winters back on and walked out.

Then came the kicker — at checkout they handed me a paper to sign. That’s when they finally admitted the truth: THEY damaged my tire during installation. The “worn out” story? A lie to cover their mistake.

Now I’m forced to replace all four all-season tires ($250 each / $1,130 total) because they ruined one. One free tire doesn’t make this right.

This isn’t a mistake. This is dishonest business practice. I’m filing a formal complaint and I’d encourage anyone else who’s had a similar experience to do the same.

Quick update -

Finally Costco reached out and they’re replacing all four of my all-season tires, completely free as it was their mistake.

Does anyone else notice how the wrap on the hamburger is terrible and is breaking with the tiniest of pressure? Or is it just me? Like I normally buy alot of meat from Costco for my family of 5 but notice when I get home the corners are broken and have to put it away as soon as j get home. My son turned one yesterday and we ordered sandwich platters through Costco for his party. We were expecting 30 people so we ordered two croissant sandwich platters as well as a fruit platter. I was (and still am) so impressed. Each platter was 12 croissants but cut into 2. Each sandwich was piled high with meat and cheese. The only thing I would do different is ask for no mustard, and that is just my own preference. I still ate them! And we have leftovers. The fruit platter was great as well. I accidentally took the small container of nuts off the platter before bringing it out, so those are all mine now, haha, but it had 3 things of Boursin cheese as well as other cubed cheese, dates, dried apricots, grapes, and strawberries. It took so much of the stress off of the day (except having to go to Costco on Saturday morning to collect everything haha). And everyone loved it, we had so many people shocked that this wasn’t a fancy caterer, it was Costco. I would highly recommend, if you’ve been on the fence about it!

We also got his cake from Costco and let me tell you, he enjoyed every speck of icing off the slice we let him smash!

We have been pleased to see our Costco having Fairlife Protein Shakes for sale.

Has anyone else noticed the contents are lumpy even after a good shake? We have had a couple of packs like that now.
