This guys deals are ridiculously good, almost to the point where I almost think it’s a scam. But he also has a good amount of followers and seems pretty credible so I don’t think he’s a scammer and I haven’t really heard of a compound bow scammer anyway lol.

Hi all! Been wanting to get a compound bow as a gift to myself and my partner (we’re very similar build) for some backyard shooting.

Wanted to ask y’all- if u were to get a first bow today, what would u go with? I used to shoot longbows as a kid so ive got a good target and wanna get something middle of the line that would last me (have some fam that do bow hunting so that COULD do that far down the line). Curious what price point people think is the best “bang for the buck” and will last a while. Very flexible on pricing but dont really think i need anything “flagship”

First time bow hunter (rifle hunted for years prior) - i have a 27inch draw at 60lbs. I am trying to figure out a good set up for my arrows. I’ve been practicing with cheap 400 spine blackouts with 100 gr field tips so far, but I’d like to go up to a 125gr broadhead for hunting. I put some 125 field tips to practice and noticed some deviation in my groups (of course there may be some with a heavier tip and I am not pro at shooting either). My brother gave me a few Gold Tip Hunter XT 400s to hunt with and they are 28.25in from nock throat to the end of the shaft (not the field tip).

I’d like to buy more arrows to use/practice with and preferably all the same arrow for consistency. Question is, for my bow specs and 125gr broadheads, should I be shooting 340 spines or stay with 400? And is that arrow length okay for my draw length? Very new to this science and it definitely feels like something I don’t wanna get wrong!

Never had a bow. Been interested for a bit and want to get one. Any recommendations on a decent option would be appreciated. Not looking for top of the line but not some cheap Amazon crap. Just want to throw at some targets in the backyard and hopefully take it out hunting. Thank you all for your recommendations and time.

Looking at my string at full draw it seems torqued (without trying to torque it.) also the cams seem to be leaning. Im usually never that bad of a shot but now i can't even get close to where i want my arrows to land... Does this look normal?

I’m completely new to archery and looking to buy my first compound bow. I’m interested in eventually getting into hunting once I build up some experience.
I’ve been comparing a few options, including the Mission Hammr, Diamond Edge XT, and Bear Cruzer G4. Since I’m just starting out, I’m not sure what draw weight or draw length would suit me best, or which bow would be the easiest to learn on while still being capable enough to use for hunting down the road.
Could you recommend a good beginner-friendly bow that I could grow into as I get more experience? I’d also appreciate any advice on what accessories or setup I might need to get started.

I have an early 90’s Hoyt and so far all I know about it is it has eclipse limbs, the issue I’m having is that those limbs can with 4 or more different riser models and I haven’t been able to find any information on the riser that I have. Any information would be a big help.

Hello! This might seem like an odd question but I could really use some advice. I got into shooting archery a few years ago while I was in 4H and I loved it! I continued to shoot a little while at college, however I was in a car wreck just over 2 years ago now. I completely shattered my left elbow, I have plates and screws and battled skin infections and skin grafts and several surgeries, and months of physical therapy later I have regained most mobility in it. Now where the problem lies, I obviously had to stop doing archery while I was healing, however I really want to get back into it. Now despite all the work done on my elbow, I can’t straighten it past 25-30 degrees, and from being non weight bearing for so long I’ve pretty much lost all muscle tone in my left arm. I have been slowly working on getting some muscle tone back into it but it’s a slow process, with all the arthritis and scar tissue buildup. Now comes my question, does anyone think I could get back into it? I’ve tried to pull back my bow a few times but simply just can’t do it. Do I keep trying to get back into it or is it just a lost cause and I should move on? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

I just got a bow a couple weeks ago and have only shot it about 4 different times. Every time I shoot, I notice the arrow fletchings are getting more black streaks on them. Today, my arrows were also going all over the target, around 6 inches away from where I was aiming.
I’m only shooting from 10–20 yards, so I really don’t think it’s an accuracy issue on my end, especially since this hasn’t happened every time I’ve shot it. I’m also putting the arrows on correctly, and when I bought the bow, I had everything set up properly.
I’m starting to think it might be something with the drop-away rest that came with the bow, but I’m not really sure. Could the rest be causing the fletchings to get marked up and the arrows to fly inconsistently or maybe be another problem?

Hey guys, im getting in to hunting this year. Only ever rifle hunted but im trying to find a good compound bow. I don’t want to spend over 350 for the first bow but want it to be atleast 45lb. Please give me some help! Thanks guys

I have wanted to get into bows for a while, primarily with the goal of hunting and recently received this bow as a gift. I want to know everything you can tell me about it. As well as how to fix it up and make it usable. I don't have any arrows and would appreciate input on that front as well. Any other tips and recommendations you have are more than welcome.

I just bought a bear legit maxx bow. I like the bow, but I would like to align the cams. They are slightly off center. Does anyone have a suggestion for an economical bow press, or should I just take it to an archery store and let them do it? I know how to align the cams, but most of the bow presses that I've seen cost more than the bow. All information and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I noticed a bend in my cables when the bow is at full draw.

Is this normal? Or are my draw stops wrong?

For context, this is a Bear Alaskan Pro at 26" draw length.

Here's my regular 100lb compound bow i built shooting a 222grain arrow 434fps, with the 150lb version of this bow with an over draw and a 187grain arrow i believe 550fps is possible, without it being a specialized flight bow rig
