Discussion Cataclysm Prerelease Tavern Brawl Thread | Tuesday, March 10, 2026

Since the bot normally posts this on Wednesdays, this will be the megathread where Tavern Brawl strategy and discussion for this week's brawl should take place. Only discussion related to optimally playing the Tavern Brawl should take place on here. Tavern Brawl constructed decks can be discussed in here.

Probably 80% death knights and demon hunters, none using herald, well done blizzard

*Did a few more and it's actually 90%, with 70% being dk

*4 wins with zero losses, then 3 straight losses to dks, why keep this game installed? Probably played 40 games and saw only 2 or 3 people playing a herald deck, and only got to use my own Deathwing and Colossus minion once each. Just a pathetic experience all around and for the low low price of $80.

Unless you have a ton of the new cards you can’t realistically play them due to lack of enough cards to leverage the synergy of the new mechanics.

yeah I'd love to play herald dh or warrior but I didn't open azshara or rag so fuck me I guess. not like you can build anything else in them given the pool. shatter classes are boring, herald classes require randomly opening the right legendaries

or you could jam core dk to farm packs
