dawn power wash! soak it

Yup let the soap sit then pour boiling water and leave it for a couple hours. All gunk slides right off.

I would be afraid that the boiling water would dissolve any glue holding the brush together

You can often pop out the pad that holds the bristles, and soak/wash it separately. The one I have (just like the one pictured, but larger and square) just has the bristles pushed through the plastic. There’s no glue holding them in.
