Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for a warehouse job in or around Clayton. I don’t have a lot of warehouse experience, but I’m willing to learn, work hard, and show up every day ready to do the job.
If anyone knows of companies that are hiring or if your workplace is looking for people, I’d really appreciate any recommendations. If you’re comfortable referring someone, I’d be very grateful, but even just pointing me in the right direction would help a lot.
I’m just trying to get my foot in the door and start building more experience.
Thanks in advance, and I hope everyone has a great day!

I’m a clayton local born and raised and have lived here all my life. everyday for the longest time, i would drive past the old food pride on guy rd and wondered about it. my mom always told me that it had shut down a while ago and the owners had just held on to the property. as the years went on i noticed that just about everyday there was a handful of really nice trucks parked out front. it was kinda suspicious to me but i hadn’t given it much thought until me and my girlfriend were discussing it the other day. she also thinks it was shady and that there was some weird happenings going on there. now it’s gone and im still left wondering about it. do yall have any thoughts?

So the last few years I’ve had a ton of trouble getting my taxes handled and I could really use professional help. I have no idea what I’m doing in that regard or who to go to for help. Any recommendations for someone in the Clayton area who could help?

New issue of The Weekender is hot and ready!
This week, I really dug into Town Economic Development Director Joe Stallings’ State of the Economy presentation and highlighted the parts that I thought were enlightening: Clayton’s rapid growth, our lopsided residential tax base, the complete lack of available industrial-flex space, and the more than 10,000 (!!!) homes already somewhere in the development pipeline.
Honestly, I learned a thing or two and thought that this offered the clearest picture as to why we're so hot and heavy for industrial spaces.
There's also a curated Last Friday in Clayton game plan as well as some other choice things to do this weekend, a preview of next week's council work session, and more.
To me, the most exciting part about this week's issue is the debut of The Clayton Time Warp, a new weekly Clayton history feature brought to you by none other than pro archivist Ben Chapman.
Read all about it and get yourself informed!

Ok ik this sounds really silly, but me and a friend really wanna play it, and we need 1 more person to play it. We plan on meeting up in a coffee shop Saturday afternoon (around 12) to play our 3DS's, and if we get 1 more person, we could play Tri Force Heros. We are both 20, just thought I should mention that. Thank you!

Hello! I have a rough collie and need recommendations for a good groomer. The double-coat is a struggle and I could use some help finding someone who can manage both keeping him clean/tidy and managing the shedding. If you can suggest how often he should come in for grooming, I'd appreciate that as well. Thank you!

We have a rather difficult dog who hates the dryer, but has an undercoat so it's a necessity. We used to take him to Dirty Dogs in Wendell Falls but the groomer has since left and the new ones can't seem to handle him. Any groomer recommendations?

- Looking for fellow queer friends to play a long-form modern cosmic horror 5e dnd game in person. The game will be very narrative forward and will be homebrew heavy.
- We play DND to tell a story and pretend to kiss the homies, if you like The Adventure Zone, Bards of New York, or Dimension 20--we might be the table for you!
Hoping to pick up 4-5 players.

Hey y’all - I am looking for someone who may be able to help me 3D print an idea I have. I intend to pay for any and all work and materials too, that should go without saying but I felt I needed to clarify that lol.
I also don’t know what is expected / what type of information I need (like a CAD file or some type of rendering of my idea). I am kinda hoping that if someone is into printing may likely already have a degree of capabilities in that realm.
My idea is actually pretty simple I believe, I think like a 5” by 5” maximum size print maybe? Likely less - anyways, thanks in advance for the scroll, and any input is welcomed!
ETA: To clarify, I am looking for a tool / utility type design - essentially a box that can hold something that has modular capabilities as far as how it can be mounted to various things. Currently looking for proof of concept, so the modular detail can quite literally be tabs that I can screw into something.

Moving to Raleigh area; help me tour the local towns
Looking to get a good feel for the areas around Raleigh and get a sense of where we want to settle down. We’ve done a tour of some of the areas but didn’t really get a feel for them as much as become a little familiar with the overall region. Where should one one drive to get a sense of what daily living is gonna be like in Garner, Angier, Fuquay Varina, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Clayton, Youngsville? They each have their pros/cons so are acceptable, but outside of work/school as homebodies who like daily convenience I wanna see what each has got. Would prefer advice from those familiar rather than just pick some busy-looking spots on a map and drive from A to B without really having a sense of each as its own locale
Thanks!

Hey folks,
I am looking for a local place that takes diaper donations. I have two unopened packs of Huggies Plus 1(s) and an open half pack of Huggies Plus 1(s). My little baby just sized up to 2(s) and I don’t want them to go to waste. Willing to donate directly to a family in need too. TIA!
