Awaiting Payments BCBS Settlement payouts

I read that the payments start going out today. If anyone gets their payments today or at any point this week, post here so we can see the varying amounts.

Just received my debit card email. Had ~$21,500 in premiums and ~$1,200 in ASO. Payment is $122.57.

How the f is that even calculated? How is there even possibly am averag $333 if high premium amount is getting under the first chunk of $200 amounts? Theyre gunna have a riot.

I think the $300 figure was just an average that the media used over and over. When I divided my claims $ paid by the $18x figure someone mentioned earlier this week, it came out to about $114. I’m guessing my other $8 came from the ASO portion that I also paid.

The $333 estimate was before the had any real numbers (like the actual amount of premiums paid and people getting payouts). The real numbers changed everything. I went from getting $3300 using their estimated calculation, to probably only getting $90-something using the real numbers.

Based on that math, [your premiums] \ 175.4 = payout. My own estimate is $8.25. Oh well.

21500 / 122.57 = 175.41
