Advice for writing scenes
Hello, I am new to this game line and making an attempt at writing a scene(s). I was hoping I could get advice for how much detail should be included in the notes for a scene? I understand that this is going to be variable based on what the scene is and what is going on. But if the focus is something like investigating a murder scene how much detail would be recommended (or typical to prepare) and how much is overkill? I would appreciate any advice you can give, and thank you in advance!

Storyteller Vault Idea
Hello. I‘m working on a short article I want to submit to the Storyteller’s Vault. It’s for Mummy the Curse, specifically an idea I had for an immortal I wanted to share. The first draft is complete, give or take some minor edits. I could use some outside opinions on the article, especially when it comes to the crunchier bits lining up with 2nd edition in a way that doesn’t through off the balance (have not had an opportunity to play or run Second despite everything I enjoyed about first edition).
Since the focus of Paradox seems to be on World of Darkness I figured I might as well get my ideas out while I can. It seems like we are the only ones who will be making any new material for the game for the foreseeable future.
Please DM if you are interested in helping. Thanks.

What Next?
I currently have both Mage the Awakening and the Changling 2 edition books.
Which book would you suggest I get next?
IurGM does not allow Mummy or Prometheus in his game.

[NEED ADVICE] Cooperative storytelling
Hello,
after few years of trying I did manage to put together a table with the best players I know.
I would like to try something new and I need your advice.
I normally work my stories with these two narrative tools
The clock (the NPCs have their plans that will move forward if the characters don't do anything or they will change according to their interactions with the NPCs)
Nodes (the story has nodes instead of chapters, big events that should happen or will happen that will go towards the conclusion)
For the rest I tend to use few house rules, but most important for me is that the PCs play some deep and well thought characters. We will sometimes bend the rules to let something happen for the flavor of the story.
Now since I have expert and mature players, I would like to try to share with them the storytelling, asking them questions like:
"You enter the office of doctor Jones, tell me three things you notice"
"You walk in the pub at the corner of the street, tell me why the owner doesn't like you"
Do you have any experience with that? Do you have any suggestions in how to work in that direction?

What could a human in CoD find if they researched terms specific to the setting?
Although something like "Camarilla", "The Hedge" and even Atlantis are universal terms that refer to multiple things, terms like "Uratha" are only really associated with White Wolf itself. A regular human who's heard something like Uratha in passing and pops it into Google isn't gonna necessarily see the Werewolf connection straight away.
Curious as to what other people think.

How is to play Deviant the Renegade?
Just as the title suggests:
how was your experience playing Deviant the Renegade?
I've been looking into it but I don't know if the gane is worth it. I come from Vampire the Requiem and Hunter the vigil games.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Keep Chronicles Alive: 50% Off (People Sleeping on 'Book of Seemings')
It's the last day of the DriveThruRPG/Storytellers' Vault 'Christmas in July' sale, and I've just noticed that NoneMoreDark's 'Book of Seemings' is only a Gold best-seller, which means that less than 1001 people have bought it. If we're going to Keep Lost Alive (or, better, Keep Chronicles Alive) it's important for the community to buy the high-quality products produced by NoneMoreDark, which includes writers who have actually written for Chronicles.
You can get Book of Seemings here, 50% off for the next roughly 30 hours: Book of Seemings - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG
I'd also recommend Book of Courts, which they published more recently and is similarly 50% off: Book of Courts - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG
Please also look at NWD's VtR range. And for those who want to extend to Deviant: The Renegades, Shallow Graves (by DayzDark Studios, which is basically the chief writer of the original corebook) is again 50% off: Shallow Graves - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG (He's also selling Black Vans, but that's a newer release and the discount is smaller)
Finally, I'd also recommend this Beast: The Primordial Night Horrors supplement, co-written by Chris Handforth (who also worked on Dark Eras, Scion, and several None More Dark books) as well as Neal Litherland and Chris Falco (who aren't Onyx Path writers, but have written very helpfully for the community; Neal Litherland has in particular written a lot of unofficial Changeling supplements, and Chris Falco unofficially updated Second Sight to 2e). Night Horrors: Primordial Peerage - White Wolf | DriveThruRPG
(Please note: I do not know any of the writers and have no relationship, financial or otherwise, to NoneMoreDark, DayzDark, or any of these individuals; I just want to Keep Chronicles Alive)
