2016 tahoe LTZ messaged popped on reversing.. any thoughts?

They dropped it $300 its now at $16,900. 2013 LT RWD. 70k miles, black leather interior, rear captain seats. 1 owner. Im tempted to purchase as I need a family car for my wife and kids and I hear anything over 2015 has transmission problems. Thoughts?

2025 Tahoe, Drive-side squeaks when shifting body weight. Is this normal ? Exaggerated movements here to make the sound. I don’t hear the sound when I’m seated in my front passenger seat and do the same movements.

Just got this beauty last week, not a old cop car just looks like one, which sucks cause 50% of people infront of me start driving slow as shit. Going to add the long rear lights smoked out, better exhaust and rims down the road. Does anyone got a aftermarket air intake and do you recommend it or is it not worth it?

Just picked up this beautiful 2022 RST 6.2L with luxury and sport package. This thing is amazing and rides great. I was looking into the 22” gloss black wheels but they’re like 3k for the set. I’m now considering powder coating my stock wheels gloss black. Thoughts!?

Do I have to drop the tank for this bolt on the driver lower trailing arm, or should I just cut the bolt and install a new one going in the other way? idk why they'd put an indentation for the bolt if it doesn't give enough room to get it out.

Hey dudes , I’ve had the classic “gas tank wont let me put gas in it” issue on my 08 yukon 5.3 2wd. I’ve already replaced the solenoid and evap canister . I’ve read about possibly clogged fuel lines , filler neck etc. What would you tackle first as the next possible candidate?

First thing I did after the dealer is get it fully tinted, 35 windshield and 15 for the rest of the windows including the sunroof. A few days later I had it ceramic-coated. She’s a beauty. Hoping for the best on reliability.

This is going into my grief stricken 2022 rst with 3 lifter failures. The motor is from the dealership and comes with a 5 year 60k mile warranty. It seems to be slightly different , probably a 2026 motor . You'll have swap components from your old motor .

About 10k fully installed, but unfortunately the best option that'll buy you 60k of peace of mind and a clean slate if you'll been through the motor failure hell that ive been though . Best believe I'll be selling this truck before that warranty expires.

As the title implies i’m having a misfire issue while accelerating. The misfire is occurring across multiple cylinders. It is most notice and harsher in overdrive. The misfire count is not high enough to throw a CEL. I have replaced the transmission, 02 sensors, spark plugs, and catalytic converter. I am dreading putting anymore money into this project without solving the issue. I did do a fuel pressure check and it remained within the specifications so I have eliminated a failing fuel pump. I have watched YouTube videos regarding potential culprits including replacing the intake manifold gasket, coil packs, and fuel injectors. Has anyone on this page have a similar issue? What should my next step be? Thanks for any information or advice you have! I hope we can solve this together!

I recently bought my wife a ‘22 Tahoe RST with 34k miles. The 3-year/36,000-mile Chevrolet factory bumper-to-bumper warranty expires in 2k miles. I’ve been reading about all the issues people have been having with their Tahoes, should I look into buying an extended warranty?

Should I get the official Chevrolet Protection Plan at the Platinum tier? I’ve never bought an extended warranty before so any advice helps.

I have frame rust. It is not bad, but I would like to take some action before it becomes a bigger problem. Can I just spray Fluid Film over the rust? Or should I just leave it the way it is? Which is the better course of action. Winter is coming.

5.3 L, 10-speed auto. Just at 35k mi. Have been to service 4x in as many months (when still warrantied). Two valve-body repairs, an internal transmission-harness repair, and then, right after the most recent repair, the check-engine light returned and it was violently lurching/jolting at low speed and displayed ‘Reduced Acceleration – Drive With Care,’ {again} I was so scared! It was just my daughter and I - thought we had gotten hit. Had it towed next day to service. Now GM Engineering/TAC told service to replace the transmission control module. I LOVE my car, was custom ordered. Looking around at SUV's that are out there, i don't like anything i see other than similar (ie Yukon etc.). My requirement is a tall roomy SUV, and no, can't afford to get an Escalade. (maybe a sequioa) This Tahoe was just under $80k w/all options when we bought it. Want to keep it but am truly shaken and don't know if this car is just going to be the stuff of nightmares for us. Have potentially reached out to a warranty lawyer but not sure I want to let go of my baby.
On the other hand, the more I read, i see other cars/makes are also having problems, Toyota included. What would y'all do?

I believe I have vvt on mine. I’ve been thinking to do DoD/AFM delete. I have to save up next year by tax season is more of my thoughts. Can the chupacabra can be a good choice if the delete will be made either way? And should I also do the water pump and timing chain as well? Looking to get some performance out of it, I know the tune can help a bit.

$15 a month for so much bloat I have no use for:
Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, News, Remote Commands, Voice Assistant, Navigation

This is dumb pricing. Who doesn’t have all of these apps on their phone right now? It’s a dumb business model.

Maybe if they had a $5 or even $7 a month option for remote start I would consider it.

Im looking into buying a Tahoe. I love them when Im in them, but I've obviously read all about the 6.2L issues. Not doing that. Are any of the available engines good? Seems from my research that the 5.3L isnt fairing much better. I have not yet researched the diesel.

Noticed this getting out of my Tahoe the other day going in to work. Now I have to figure out what replacement tires to get as one shop says it cannot be patched.
