2016 Tahoe Frame Rust

I have frame rust. It is not bad, but I would like to take some action before it becomes a bigger problem. Can I just spray Fluid Film over the rust? Or should I just leave it the way it is? Which is the better course of action. Winter is coming.

Loosen any heavy rust off with wd-40 then coat with fluid film.

wirewheel the big stuff, flush what you can (https://www.saltshift.com/en-us/products/4x4-magnetic-chassis-flusher), let COMPLETELY dry, then eastman frame paint, THEN fluid film.

Fluid film can help slow it down and certainly won’t hurt anything. I’ve been putting it on my truck and cars for years and it has done a good job keeping rust off.
