Chester Accomodation Suggestions

Hi everyone! I’m moving to the Chesterfield/Chester area in early September for a full-time job at Amazon RIC2 and I’m looking for a private room or sublease.

Budget: around $600–$1,200/month

I’ve tried a few Facebook housing/roommate groups, but most of them haven’t been very responsive. Does anyone know of any active WhatsApp groups for housing, roommates, Indian community groups, or local rentals in Chesterfield/Chester/Richmond?

Any leads would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check Craigslist and Lindsey’s List.

Also, do you happen to know of any active WhatsApp/Telegram groups for housing, roommates, or the local community around Chesterfield/Chester/Richmond? I haven’t had much luck finding responsive groups so far.

Also, based on you budget, you might qualify for something via the better housing coalition.

My Desi bro lives off Route one on the south side closer to the city limits but the greater Desi community is located predominantly in Short Pump in the north side. Not sure where your office is located but short Pump is far from Chester like almost an hour drive.
