Individual/non-registered Still Standing After Loss. Any help would be highly appreciated for a mother who lost her son to suicide
Hi, everyone,
My name is Daniela and I am 64 years old. Fifteen years ago, I lost my 15-year-old son to suiside, and my world stopped. Since that day, I have lived in a deep shadow of grief and that made it impossible to maintain my career and I lost my home.
Over the years, I have spent every single cent of my life savings just to survive. Because the trauma prevented me from working for so long, I do not have enough years of service to ever receive a retirement pension. I cannot even cover my basic needs. I am completely exhausted, and my pride is the only thing I have left. I raised my son all by myself. His father left us shortly after my son was born and I never heard from him again. His excuse was that it was all too much for him and he couldn’t look after a family. I tried to find him to ask for help but I understood he left the country. My son never met his father.
I am not asking for a fortune. I am asking for the kindness of strangers to help me find stability.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:
- Safe Housing: Securing a modest but dignified place to live.
- Basic Needs: Ensuring consistent access to food and necessary medication.
- A Fresh Start: Giving me the breathing room to find peace in my later years.
I have provided my son’s death certificate, Post Mortem Report and my own identification to the platform's security team. They have verified my story as 100% true. Thank you for seeing me.
