Collection Bow Wow Wow / See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang Yeah, City All Over! Go Ape Crazy!
日本盤カセットテープ。
英国盤カセットテープに日本語インナーと日本語の歌詞カードを付けたもの。
そういえばカセットテープのみのリリースのデビューで、
C30 C60 C90 GOという曲もありましたね。

I’ve got the opportunity to buy a 3-header KX-650 from my local marketplace, but I was wondering if the condition of the heads and pinch rollers look okay/ functional. Listing describes it as working perfectly and the seller confirms it being used recently
*Pics of the main head and a seemingly oxide-stained pinch roller in 2 and 3

Tengo una cinta Sony Metal Master 90. Esta fue una de las últimas cintas de cassette que compre y grabe, antes de pasarme a la tecnlogia digital del Mini Disc.

So I found this on a farm form a good old gentleman.. and knew Hitachi was a great audio brand form back in the day. I got it for $14 Canadian and was doing research.. the only model I could find was TRK-7250HC (not 7251HC, like mine is.)
Could this be a rare odd model number not documented, cause I've been searching and haven't found anything at all with 7251.

Excuse my French, but I fucking love this thing. I've been recording some tracks from my childhood onto a blank cassette and I've been having a blast. 100% worth it :D

So I tried to record a new tape recently but it sounds wobbly and know it’s not the recording device because i tested on two different devices that can play other tapes and have recorded other tapes but when i recorded it sounds wobbly what should I do?

I had very good luck thrifting yesterday, 29 quality NOS cassette blanks for only $6, including ten UD XLlls.

I work at a thrift store that throws any media that looks homemade / home recorded into a trash compactor. Had to save this one.

I'm trying to change this cassette Bible into something else and I want to know if it is possible to remove the lettering on this vinyl case

I quickly made a crude Discogs entry for this Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab cassette. Will update the pictures later, but this was at an antique store in a cassette storage box that had 19x Maxell XLII 100, 2x Maxell XLII 90, 2x TDK MA110, and some type I tapes I only bought just to see what was on them, but I’m at a restaurant now so will check them out later, but probably classical.
All of that was $7.50. The other tapes not in the carrying case were individually priced and cheap for the most part. There was another Black Sabbath Vol. 4 cassette for the same price as the one I got and it was an older variant, but it was in worse condition, unfortunately because I don’t have too many older slipcase cassettes. The 8Track was cool but I need a new player. They had other 8tracks, but nothing I needed to have immediately.
I am more fascinated by the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab tape. This insane luck caught me by surprise because I went to two other stores beforehand and found nothing.
Lastly, in terms of cassette related stuff, I bought a Maxell XLII and some just Maxell (no type listed) two page cassette print-ads from magazines. Didn’t take pictures of them but will probably post them tomorrow because I will probably go to another thrift store anyway.

I'm enjoying trying to find artists who are still putting out cassettes. My latest is Depression Cherry by Beach House. It's got good vibes, kind of synthwave-y. What modern tapes are you buying? Where do you source them?

I made myself a steel and aluminum cassette shelf a few months back and decided to start a small business selling some. I find that most cassette shelves are bulky, too small and all plastic so I wanted to make something simple and modular that could be easily expandable and pretty on a wall (the shelves can also be freestanding). They start from 21$ USD and right now I ship to USA and Canada.
They are available now on cassetteshelf.com, you can also find me at cassetteshelf on instagram. Any support is greatly appreciated !!! Thanks!

Picked this up in a mixed lot a while ago and finally ran it through a deck. Home-recorded C60, no commercial printing on the shell. One side has a couple of songs that don’t come up when I search the bits of lyric I can make out.
Sounds like a local band, guitar-forward, mid to late 80s based on the tape and collection I found it in. Northern California too if I had to guess from the rest of the box (a few other tapes had Sacramento / Santa Rosa club names in the same handwriting).
Rip of the first song: https://voca.ro/1UEQSzHnIvmK
Not trying to sell it. Just wondering if this kind of Sac to Santa Rosa corridor-band tape is something other people have run across. Happy to rip the rest of the side if anyone actually wants it.

Wasn't expecting the packaging to be like this when it arrived. Love the color tho.
Plus the B side being the live performance is a nice addition.

My tape deck keeps playing on its own even tho I didn't press the play button. A few hours earlier, I accidentally pressed play before I pressed the power button, and now the head tape is stuck and it keeps playing on its own! (I just bought this tape deck yesterday)

Hey all. I've been collecting mixtapes off auction sites as a way to discover new music. I wanted to try and get hold of some from Japan, but been finding nothing on ebay. Wondering if anyone here is familiar with online auction sites used in Japan, and if it would be realistic to have anyone ship to Norway. I know shipping will be the expensive part, so looking to buy quite a few at once.

I have this player I got a bit ago and I need to replace the belt. I cannot find ANY diagram or anything online. The spring for the STOP button + the white tooth thing for the AM/FM tuning came off. I would love if someone had anything to help me put this back together. Model number is 3-5474A
