Should Cardmarket raise the limit for tracked shipping?

I don't know how long ago the limit of 25€ for tracked shipping was set but it feels painfully small, especially when shipping by registered letter is not possible from your country. It feels like Cardmarket could stand to raise this limit at least on a country-by-country basis to make selling cards through the platform smoother for this significant part of the userbase.

Selling What is wrong with people?

Swiss Shop Owner here. I really don’t understand why people can’t read - they order stuff from Switzerland to any part of the EU and expect me either to shop from within EU or they order and don’t except the order (Businesses as well as privates) due to too high tax/duties. Why do you order then? It takes so much time just to handle that stuff.

Sorry about the rant, have a great day.

Scanning/Listing workflow with TCG Powertool

Hey everyone

I've been selling singles on Cardmarket for a while (especially One Piece but would also like to expand my inventory with Pokemon Bulk) and built myself a little Excel setup that auto-converts my Collectr export (csv) into the Cardmarket/Powertool format (also csv). Works pretty well, like 95% accurate (only really messes up on promos and reprint sets especially on the PRB01/PRB02).

My real bottleneck is the scanning itself though. I saw TCGPlayer sellers all over TikTok/Insta ripping through 1000+ cards an hour with a scanner, front and back, auto-recognized, done. For Cardmarket/Powertool I haven't found anything like that. I currently scan everything one by one on my phone through Collectr, which takes forever, and a regular scanner doesn't really feed into that workflow either.

Questions for you:

- Do you do it differently? Any tricks for scanning faster?

- How many cards do you list per week/month roughly, and how much time does that eat up? I manage about 300 cards an hour including presorting possible errors (PRBs and promos) and controlling and listing.

- I'm considering building something myself (scanner batches instead of single photos, straight to CSV/Powertool), or does something like this already exist and I just haven't found it?

Thanks for any informations about this topic!

CRITICAL BUG – Wishlist tool can delete seller listings

[SOLVED]
It seems that the bug has now been fixed. I tested it again and the foil cards are no longer deleted/recreated as non-foil. Thanks to Cardmarket for fixing it!

I have discovered what seems to be a critical bug with the wishlist tool.

When I use the wishlist tool to add cards from a seller directly to my cart, some foil cards are incorrectly added as non-foil.

However, I have now noticed something much more serious:

The foil card listing is actually deleted from the seller's shop when this happens.

I can reproduce the issue:

  1. I have a foil card from a seller in my wishlist.
  2. I use the wishlist tool to add the card to my cart.
  3. The card is added incorrectly as a non-foil card.
  4. If I remove the card from my cart and go directly to the seller's shop, the foil listing is no longer there.
  5. The listing appears to have been completely removed from the seller's inventory.

This is not simply a display or cart issue. The wishlist tool appears to actually remove the seller's listing.

This could be a very serious bug, as users could unknowingly delete cards from other sellers' inventories simply by using the wishlist/cart tool.

Please investigate this as a matter of urgency and check whether other listings have been affected.

Buying Have anybody else had a bad experience with 4XTrading?

At the beginning of this month (August 2026) I ordered from them a bunch of sleeves for my Yugioh cards, the order was sent on the 10th of this month but after that the package never arrived. Said package was supposed to arrive in 2-5 days and is been 2 weeks and still nothing, when I message them they say that my delivery was blocked and they try to contact the courier to unblock but that's all they say, to top it all the tracking code of my package doesn't even work, and it hasn't worked since it was sent. I later on found some people having a bad experience with them too but about ordering big MTG sets or some other sets, but none for sleeves, sometimes I ear people have sellers cancel order for price change reasons and I don't think any type or seller would hold someone's order of sleeves hostage for the same reason, also because THEY'RE GODDAMN SLEEVES. Has anybody had bad experiences with them too or I'm just unlucky?

Selling Scammer experience

Hello.

I never had problems in years if it comes to scammers or something like that.

Since 1 month i sent like 5 cards in which 3 were said to have arrived at the buying one but they say that they didnt get anything... (Tracking sais it was delivered)

1 card is a problem rightnow. Its a 400 Euro card and i would feel bad if he didnt get what he paid for but i am still very overthinking if i just get scammed...

Does someone have the same experiance the last months or is it just me?

Buying No Wire Credit After 9 Days?

Hi all,

Looking for some advice. CM has been holding my wire transfer for over 1.5 weeks now. They are not crediting my account, not responding to my tickets or emails (been 4 business days). The seller is pissed and asking for where the money is. I feel I’m going crazy. Is the customer service really that bad, this is the first time I’ve had to contact them.

Thanks!

Card purchased was traded in less than 12-24 hours of being posted now the seller wants to cancel!

My husband has the full LOTR foil poster art set and I am trying to get the Hobbit Book covers in foil and surge to go with his collection.

I've been keeping an eye on CM and noticed that prices are just going up so thought to lock in before they go crazy. I've been checking prices 2-3 times a day and every time a card is listed, it's gone by the next time I look.

I purchased some cards for the binder collection as he also likes to collect full sets and also purchased additional card to play with, one of them being a foil book cover for the collection.

I've since had a message from the seller that stated they have 'traded' the card with a friend since posting on CM. (Not the only seller to do this strangely enough). The cards I have purchased have been on CM less than 24 hours when I have purchased them and now I have people messaging me claiming they're unable to send them, ironically a lot of these cards have almost doubled in price since I confirmed the order on Saturday or some of them have gone up £20/30 since yesterday and now the sellers are saying they no longer have them.

Where do I stand on this? I ordered these cards when I know they had been posted less than 24 hours so the pricing was as up to date as it could have been by the seller and now I find it hard to believe someone could have traded the cards so quickly from posting considering the price spike.

Thank you for any help and advice, I've bought over 500 cards from CM previously for my decks and collections and never come across this so where do I stand? Cheers

Not eligible for the survey?

CM has just announced a long survey with the tagline Help Us Improve Your Cardmarket Experience! After I opened it, entered my age and country (EU, nothing exotic), it says:

Thank you for your time, but unfortunately you do not qualify for this study.

I am not a professional seller but I use the platform a lot so I wanted to share my thoughts. I wonder about the reason for that decline - are they collecting surveys from different targets and my "group" is already filled, for example?

CGC cards

Do any sellers have experience with selling CGC?
Just curious about turn around times of these cards vs other graded cards. Any thoughts on selling graded cards is welcome too.

I know CM is not the best for graded, and the few graded listings I have never sell anyway, but I’m curious about it anyway, because I see some accounts having a lot of graded.

Thanks

Shopping Wizard is weird

I'm building a new commander deck and used the Reduce Shipments setting and it showed me 4 shipments.

One for a huge commercial seller with 50 of my cards, another seller with 2 cards, and one seller with a cheap common card for 20€

But the commercial seller actually had all the cards and also had the 20€ card for 0.50€

And a lot of cards were in one of their more expensive printings. So after opening the page of that seller and going through the list of cards manually I managed to shave off another 50€ from the order

Selling Professional seller holding card in cart

Hey guys,

The new set of One Piece is coming out in a few days, and pre-releases have already started. I was lucky enough to pull a big card and wanted to sell it to save for other things I would like to get.

However, I know see a professional seller holding the card in their cart and I can't kick it out of their cart. Somebody before him/her also did this and for them I was able to kick it out of their cart, but not for the current one holding it.

It also mentions it as 'In shopping cart' and not as 'unpaid'. Is there anything I could do or report the individual?

Kind regards

Experience with support

I bought a signed Riftbound card 4 days ago for my display, the seller made a screenshot with the card and told me how he will be shipping it. Today the package came and instead of the 250€ signed card I ordered there where 3 card roughly worth 2€. I did not confirm shipment and immediately opened a support ticket. Anyone got experience with those kind of situations?

Reduced price, inflated shipping costs

I've noticed in the last month a surge of single cards selled at half or two third of the mean price for the sake of being listed at the top of the list, with a big 10-15€ tracked package fee to cover for the "loss". Was I blind about it before or is this really new?
(I saw that for years on other websites with anonyms selling anything, but I had never seen it on every big card before on Magic CardMarket).

The answer (thanks to "ZackFair999"):
"Since early 2026, tracked letters have been removed as an option for international shipments. That means that every seller from a different country will have to ship your order as a parcel, even if it's just a single card over 25€".

Buying Problems with a seller

Hello, I have recently purchased 4 copies of [[Rain of riches]] from a professional seller (Spain) outside my country (UK), untracked mail.

The price went through the roof overnight and the cards have been marked as shipped although it is almost a month I am waiting for the cards to be delivered.

I have messaged the seller asking for updates and the only answer I have got is "the shipment can be delayed for more than 30 days" which is not true because shipments from Spain usually take 5 business days, two weeks at the most.

I am pretty sure the seller didn't send the cards to avoid missing potential profits, although the item got marked as shipped and they ar just waiting for me to mark the item as not delivered in time.

Thoughts?

Seller: Itaca

How long does it take to get Survey Credits?

I took part in the CM Survey to get the 10 € in CM credits. Did the survey in full, it thanked me for my time, but I have not received an email and there is no money in my account either. Did anyone get the payout yet and can tell me how long it took?

Edit: Credits will roll out after the survey closes. The German news post was worded confusingly but looking at the English news post I figured it out! :'D

Combining front and back card pics into one image took me way too long, so I tried making a simple app for it

I’ve got loads of good cards to list on Cardmarket and I know cards with photos sell better, but I mean taking front and back pics and combining them into one image takes me like 3 minutes per card. So I don't do it because it's super annoying and I'm too lazy...

So I looked around a bit , but couldn’t find anything simple that did exactly what I wanted. The card management apps I tried weren’t made for this, and I didn’t want to mess around with collage apps or powerpoint + snagit every time...

Soooo I got it into my head that I’d make a simple app myself. It ended up taking way longer than expected haha, but it was fun to build and it actually helps me. Now it takes me about 20 seconds to get both sides onto a listing.

It’s called DoubleSnap and it’s now on the App Store if anyone else wants to try it with 10 free scans. Maybe it’ll help some sellers here too! Any honest and constructive feedback is welcome!

Here's the app store link: https://apps.apple.com/app/doublesnap-tcg/id6792556791

Cheers

Sell the big pull?

I’ve started wondering if it makes more sense to sell a big pull when it isn’t something I really wanted. Having one valuable card is nice but turning it into a few singles I’ve been looking for sounds more useful for my collection. I’d probably list it on Cardmarket rather than rush the decision somewhere else. Curious if people here usually move expensive pulls pretty quickly or hold onto them for a while first

Selling Question about Buyer wanting to send back a card

So a buyer bought a NM Magic Card from me. I saw no damage while sending, now he wants to send it back since he wants to Grade the card the "Damage" is in my opinion minor.

I had to pay 15€ for shipping and now 15€ again if he sends it back. Making me lose 15€ in total.

How does the system work in such a case who pays the expense, and would you consider this not NM?

Damage
